WTF?
As one player returns from injury another gets injured.
He will not come back this season, its over for him, *bleep* England.

6 weeks BEFORE he starts rehabilitation. Effectively out of the season.
That tackle was atrocious by the sight of it. It was a friendly
Agger belongs at Stoke. Would fit in well there.
4th in danger now. Not sure how Ramsey and Kallstrom will be like after their injuries either.

Re: The Arsenal Injury Thread
Why is it only Arsenal players get injured playing for England?
Why did he stay on that long?
I honestly dont care where we finish anymore, sick of top4 and nothing comes out of it.

And when Ox and Ramsey need a rest, you will still have these guys to run the opposition off the park:
Arteta - Flamini
Özil - Källström - Rosicky

I wonder if Agger has any malicious intent >.< . It seems quite convenient to pull that tackle off specific player like Jack.

I hope this becomes a lesson for Jack not to play in pain again. He's so immature
Well we have enough players to replace him so it's not a huge blow.

I lay full blame on Agger here the slimy little twat. Over the top challenge in a bloody friendly. Honestly wouldn't be surprised if Rodgers ordered him to target Wilshere and try to injure him

Re: The Arsenal Injury Thread
Gutted Wilshere is out, but, if there are any positive ways to look at it, I guess it's the fact Ramsey is almost back and that Wilshere wasn't in great form, anyhow.
Flamini Ramsey; Chamberlain Ozil Cazorla with the likes of Arteta Gnabry Rosicky Podolski Kallstrom as back-up, we "should" be ok.

Read that in the 5 matches Wilshere hasn't featured we've won 3 and drawn 2.

Wenger should start rotating player more next season as our player always gets injured this time every season.

Thats his problem, he gets carried away, for the first time in years we had the players to rotate but Wenger gambled and it backfired on us.

Re: The Arsenal Injury Thread
I know this guy rubs people the wrong way, but what he says does seem to make sense:
http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/arsenals-injury-problems-down-incompetent-3233644#ixzz2vl290HuA
If our injuries were something that just occurred every now and then, then we could say it's down to bad luck, but when it happens repeatedly year after year, then clearly there is a problem somewhere with how the players train and recover between games.

Re: The Arsenal Injury Thread
it what i said on the bayern live thread, we will always get these injures until we get a big enough squad to rotate. wondered why it is always our key players that get injuried? because we never stop playing them.

We definitely have a big enough squad to rotate. It doesn't explain the amount of injuries.
3 GKs
3 CBs
4 FBs
9 MF
4 Wingers
3 CFs
That's looking at every player and their pure position. Some of them can shift when injuries occur but the frequency is now getting extremely questionable and the fingers being pointed are rightly in the direction of our physios.

Re: The Arsenal Injury Thread
We have a big squad for once but Wenger still doesn't rotate because it goes against his philosophy. He believes in continuity and that doesn't allow him to rotate heavily in "easier" fixtures.
It's one his flaws imo, I made a thread about this earlier in the season when we were overplaying Ramsey... no surprise he's been out injured since that.

Re: The Arsenal Injury Thread
Aaron Ramsey is unlikely to return in Sunday's north London derby against Tottenham Hotspur as Arsène Wenger frets over the full extent of Mesut Özil's hamstring injury, with the initial indication being that the German will be out for a month.
Ramsey has long targeted the visit to Tottenham – the first of a difficult sequence of Premier League fixtures that could define Arsenal's title challenge – and when he returned to full training at the beginning of last week, he looked to be on course.
Ramsey, the club's star turn over the first half of the season, has not played since Boxing Day, when he damaged his thigh at West Ham United. Arsenal have pushed him in training but he is expected to be short of the required levels for the trip to White Hart Lane.
Özil was forced off at half-time of the club's Champions League last-16 second-leg tie at Bayern Munich on Tuesday night, which they drew 1-1 to fall 3-1 on aggregate, and Wenger said that the injury looked quite serious and would rule the midfielder out for at least a few weeks.
Özil saw the Bayern and Germany doctor, Hans-Wilhelm Müller-Wohlfahrt, at half-time but he flew back to London with the Arsenal squad, where he continued to be assessed on Wednesday. The full picture will be clear on Thursday but it is already understood that Özil will miss the league games against Tottenham, Chelsea, Swansea City and Manchester City and, most probably, Everton on 6 April. Arsenal face Wigan Athletic in the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley on 12 April.
Kieran Gibbs who missed the Bayern second leg with ankle damage, is a doubt for Tottenham but Wenger expects to have Nacho Monreal available at left-back again after a foot problem. Kim Kallstrom, the January loan signing, who has been hampered by a back injury, comes into contention for his Arsenal debut.

Re: The Arsenal Injury Thread
When will we finally have an injury free squad? Setbacks, more injuries ffs!
Just let Ramsey recover properly and stop rushing him back.
