How to break park-the-bus teams
Clearly Chelsea struggle to break down teams who don't leave space for our attackers to work on. When teams play an open game, such as Arsenal or Schalke, our counter-attack football thrives and our players suddenly look alive. However, smaller teams now simply sit back because they know Chelsea don't know how to break a defense. West Brom saw Newcastle do that and they almost managed to break Mourinho's unbeaten league record at SB. Next we face West Ham away and they have gone one step further and have even attracted criticism for being too direct.
Clearly an alternative is needed if Mourinho plans to last the season.
An interesting suggestion was offered in this article.

Re: How to break park-the-bus teams
Well its a bit too long for me to read and I'm in a hurry.. but the answer should lie in set pieces and shoot whenever you can.. but we don't have clinical strikers anymore. We need more of Oscars long range shots too.
