FEAR MESSI 2014.

In my opinion, he should rest until the end of the year.

He used to play much more in the Pep era and wasn't rested enough, yet he didn't got injured. Maybe it has to do with diet or something. Or probably when he got injured the first time against PSG last season in the 1st leg, he should have been rested more to be fully fit before playing high level football [vs Psg and Bayern which made his injury even worse].

he is not 'finished' as such, he just meeds to find that rich vain of form that we all have become accustomed to seeing. maybe a 6 month loan move at Palace?

Nah, Messi is not finished, the overrated prick was on a good form for a number of games and now he's back to normal. you know, class is permanent, form is temporary.

Before and maybe it's just me but the press is just reacting like "oh damn it's an injury and he will be beck in 2 months"

Before when Messi would get hurt the press would over react and worry about Barcelonas future, you'd even see statistics on games they've played without Messi and if they either won, lost, drew those game.

But now it seems like it's not as big of a deal probably because of a in form Neymar who just improving week after week.

What constant injuries ?? Lol stop the nonsense.
Nonsense?

Ever since the PSG game, he has had constant thigh injuries. What was his highest run of games before breaking down? Not many, me thinks. According to Free, he has had 4 injuries under Tata ALREADY. If that isn't constant I don't know what is. And his latest one, has him out for 2 months.

However, there must be reasons why he's getting injured a lot lately.

Perhaps it has something to do with his diet or the fact that he is having trouble dealing with Tata's training regimes. I don't know really, but I hope he comes back quicker and stronger than before.

It's going to be interesting to see what the team dynamic will be like when Messi returns. If Neymar is made the centre and then scores loads of goals will he be happy being relegated to a side kick on Messi's return?

He's getting injured because he's played practically every minute of every game for going on half a decade.

People can deny if they want but that was going to catch up to him eventually.... oh and the fact they rushed him back so they could beat PSG is still having effect now.

He needs to focus on getting fit now and i mean actually fit and ready to play not half fit and not moving like he did last time.

Not like Barca are going to need him between now and Christmas break anyway when their hardest game is Bilbao away.

Its interesting if Ribery wins it what Penaldo fanboys will say? Ribery is also Uefalona?

The thing is that Ronaldo can not win Ballon Dor (deservedly so) and his fans find every excuse to use. I still remember what they did in last December, after Ballon Dor they posted fake stories in behalf of voters. "I voted Ronaldo but they changed it", I didnt vote Messi but they changed it". If you asked them about source or link they were silent

We also have the yellow submarines. All tho were home against them I wouldn't write off an upset especially since both RM and AM drew against them even tho it was at Madrigal.
