Giaccherini set for Serie A return?

There are reports the new Inter could include bids for Emanuele Giaccherini, Clement Grenier and Remy Cabella.

Indonesian investor Erick Thohir has bought out 70 per cent of the club from President Massimo Moratti and could start ploughing cash into their January transfer market.

Swiss media infoticker claim there will be an offer for Italy international Giaccherini, who only left Juventus for Sunderland over the summer for €7.5m.

It would be a swift return to Serie A for the versatile midfielder, who could play on the wing in Walter Mazzarri’s 3-5-2 formation.

Other targets are rumoured to be in France, specifically Lyon’s 22-year-old attacking midfielder Grenier and Montpellier talent Cabella.

It’s believed Juventus are also interested in Grenier, whose price-tag is in the region of €30m.

As for trequartista Cabella, he’s valued at €17m and has already been linked with Inter in the past.

Wouldnt be bothered if he joined Inter, the guys come from serie C2 all the way to a championship winning teams and national team exploits. If he reutns to Italy it'll surely be for a top 5 club. Dont think he'd come back to us though. Hope he either moves to Fio or Roma though if any.
