Gervinho and Totti are both injured and wont be in the game .Its a chance for Ljajic and Borriello to play upfront and DDR to get the armband .I dont care about Udinese's position on table neither Roma's ,I know that Udinese can be a great danger .It will be another Test for our defence as Di Natale has great on and of the ball movement ,he is not cf so he wont stay in the box but tends to get back and forth .Balzaretti will be back from suspension and if Garcia wont use pjanic in upfront midfield should remain the same so the formation will be something like this

Maicon, Benatia, Castan, Balzaretti;

De Rossi;

Pjanic, Strootman;

Florenzi, Borriello, Ljalic;

I have a feeling at some point we we could see Borriello pulled off to run a 4 man midfield. I still see 3 points in this game, because either Strootman or Pjanic will run things.

Can't take Udinese too lightly. They are never a sure victory when at the Friuli.

This isn't the Roma we're used to seeing however. This Roma seems to be able to cope without Totti or Gervinho, but the lack of depth beyond that is very worrying should something happen to Nutella.

I think Boriello needs another good game. Garcia seems to have clearly defined his role within the team as the prima punta so let's hope he's up for the battle against the Udine defense.

Totti in not there to open up the game with his passes , nor gervjz to use the speed . its either pure 4-3-3 or the more possession based by using pjanic up . intriguing game
