Re: Inter - Verona
Ricky is just returning from injury we shouldn't let him start. Kovacic needs to start behind Palacio. Poor guy got substituted after 5 minutes last time.

Re: Inter - Verona
This is a season of false hope...even if we keep winning at this decent rate, in all likelihood we still wont qualify for CL

Re: Inter - Verona
Roma had to complicate things for everybody ffs, but if you ask me El is perfect for our youth project.

Re: Inter - Verona
If we don't make the CL this season we would need much longer time to balance the books. I read an article on fcinternews talking up how we are in red etc. Looks gloomy if we don't get that extra cash for CL qualification tbh. Say good bye to Handa and Guarin.

There is no way that we can be financially sound without CL money unless were ready to accept long-term mediocrity for the club

Re: Inter - Verona
Guarin leaving wouldnt be a bad thing if you ask me. As for Handa, as great as he is, we have Italy's best young keeper ready to take his place.InterMalia wrote:If we don't make the CL this season we would need much longer time to balance the books. Making the CL might (MIGHT) be counter productive on the long run. Right now we dont have the squad to play in europe while staying competitive in serie a. In that case we'll either end up signing a bunch of overpriced players to fill the ranks and get screwed on the long term, or we take another suicidal route and try to spread our scarce resources over two competitions and end up screwed in both.
We have a lot of promising players coming through the pipeline but it will take time until they can hold the fort on their own. The EL will be the perfect place for these players to gain experience and prove their worth.
