Report: Juve to target Osvaldo

Reports in the British Press suggest that Southampton forward Pablo Osvaldo could be targeted by Juventus in January.

The Italy international only joined the Premier League club this summer, moving from Roma for a club record fee.

But The Mirror insists that the striker is willing to talk with the Bianconeri and will sit down with Coach Mauricio Pochettino soon to discuss his future.

Osvaldo has endured a difficult start to the campaign on the south coast, scoring just one League goal since his arrival.

The tabloid believes that Antonio Conte’s may look to bring the attacker in on loan for six months, before signing him permanently next summer.

If it is true, it baffles me why we always seem to take part in a marry go round with these 'decent' strikers. We move one, and replace them. If you're making money AND bringing in an equal ability striker then it's ok. But this is random..

Tevez is our best striker

Vucinic is our best link up man.

Osvaldo barring the form he had at Roma for 4 months or so, is not going to displace either one of them.

Rather Osvaldo than Vuci.

OSvaldo is the most underrated ST I would love to have him
