AC Milan target Juventus' Fabio Quagliarella as Antonio Cassano replacement - report
Fabio Quagliarella could be on his way out of Juventus in the winter transfer window as AC Milan have shown an interest in signing the Italy international, Il Corriere dello Sport reports.
The Rossoneri are in the market for a new attacker due to the fact Antonio Cassano is set for a lengthy absence after he undergoes heart surgery, and they see the 28-year-old as an ideal replacement.
Quagliarella joined Juventus from Napoli on a one-year loan deal in August 2010, and his stay at the Turin giants was made permanent in the summer transfer window.
However, the attacker has been unable to secure regular first-team football under new head coach Antonio Conte, and Juventus could be tempted to agree to a loan deal which runs until the end of the season.
The Bianconeri are not interested in selling Quagliarella, as they feel he still has a long-term future at the Juventus Stadium with players such as Alessandro Del Piero, Luca Toni and Amauri all believed to be on their way out of the club at the end of the current campaign.
Do you think a move could ever materialise?

If conte has no intention of playing quagliarella then it will be fine, even though we need him an case of injuries...

I don't think so bro ..because Amauri will be out and Iaquinta said that to so we need depth plus Conte hasn't used Elia and Krasic and Quagli.. plus conte said that he likes Quagliarella and his style but he needs to work harder in training

Definitely but I hope not
Marotta will look to profit if Quagliarella is sold meaning Milan would have to pay up.
At this point, yes I can definitely see Quagliarella leaving.

I believe Marotta sees that as the best opportunity to make a big money out of quaglia. milan is in desperate need of a striker and with always injured pato they may pay big

Very good point...
If Milan are ok with paying 15+ then there is a pretty good chance he will be sold. A loan is less likely unless they pay us like 5 million and his salaries lol

I can see this happening. And I can see us regretting it.
If it has to happen, re-invest wisely.
Soon we're going from having too many attackers to too little.
Toni, ADP, Amauri, Iaquinta probably going. If Quags also goes we're left with Matri and Vuci. No point pretending we'll use the teenagers.

I swear to god, If Marotta puts a buyout clause in this loan, I swear the man is a pure idiot.

Milan have been very strict with their money lately. If you look at our last 2 transfer windows, Milans most expensive transfer was El Shaarawy (business wise, not a great deal) while many other transferred players (i.e. Cassano, Van Bommel, Taiwo, Mexes, Aquilani) all costing from nothing to 5m.
If Milan do get the loan, I can't see us buying him outright if his price tag is 10-15m+

Quag isn't replacment for Cassano. Altough i rate him as a player, he cant replace Cassano creativity.
But if Juve was to sell, we could use someone who can finish instead of Robinho.

Yes, you are right. Quags and Cassano are two completely diffferent players. Cassano is a support striker who can play as an attacking midfielder. Quags is a prima punta who can also play as a support striker.
Although some Juventini who shall remain nameless actually said last year that they are comparable players...
