Ramsey vs Pogba
Who is more talented out of the two or rather ,who would you have out of the two ?
I hope to hear more opinions from Non-Arsenal and Juventus fans.
And please dont come with this 'different roles, different system' BS.They play similar roles in their respective teams as far as i'm concerned.

Re: Ramsey vs Pogba
Ramsey. Ramsey's talent is ridiculous. Could have played at this level long ago were it not for that injury he suffered against stoke. Not that much in it.

Ramsey by far, every way you take it. Have always seen him as better than Wilshere too.

Re: Ramsey vs Pogba
More takented out of the two ? i don't know but i'm pretty impressed by Pogba. Someone above pointed out that he seems lazy like Yaya but you can't expect players with that body to be able to move like ramsey, Essien, vidal etc ...
Right now i'd take Ramsey but if i had to choose one for a long term i'd go with Paul. Hard choice though.

Re: Ramsey vs Pogba
Both are great and whatever everyone thinks in compoarison is quite ok , but i would not think twice by picking up Ramsey. Before any says bias or this kind of bs , i always liked Ramsey more , even though i've seen Pogba play for United only once.
At Juventus he has impressed big time , but what Ramsey has been doing with Arsenal so far i haven't seen from Pogba , always in comparison , Pogba is an immense talent obviously. But Ramsey has taken up so much responsibility whilst being succesfull in the process and you can see it in the way he's been playing that's he is fearless during games.
Not afraid to try stuff , not afraid to shoot , assist , tackle , throw himself into dangerous situations e.t.c , simply outstanding . Pogba is at this point which has already won the fans , doubters and i dare say general opinion , but he still ain't there and he's been trying to impress . Ramsey doesn't even try , he dominates on the field .
If Ramsey can keep this up , there's no contest for me. Remembering what he had to deal with so far , makes his return that more impressive and admirable , to say the least.

What's Pogba like defensively? 'Cos Ramsey isn't afraid to get stuck in when the situation calls for it

the Injury did some damage to him
as for the title,,, tenacity, ruthlessnes, grit.. Ramsey wins.. pogba edges with technique though

Re: Ramsey vs Pogba
Let's face it, the hype is around Ramsey atm, and it's justified hype too. BUT, it's only October so i'm not gonna even bother debating this for a few months.

Re: Ramsey vs Pogba
the hype around ramsey is getting ridiculous, surprised no one has called him the best CM in football already.
As for me, i take Pogba, rare combination of a physically dominant player, with great skills and technique. I dont think he has found a natural role in midfield yet, but he is versatile to handle everything thrown his way atm.

Re: Ramsey vs Pogba
Like I said, the hype is so strong that essentially people who don't even watch Pogba will be laughing at the fact that he is even compared to the demi-god Ramsey.
So i'm going to wait until the end of the season. By then one of two things will have happened.
1. Ramsey continues to prove the doubters wrong. He replicates his top form for a whole season.
2. He dies down, he goes back to lesser performances and people stop sucking up dat hype and come back down to earth.
How many games have Arsenal even played this season? Ramsey wasn't even spoken about that much until this season.
So a string of performances from Ramsey and he's all of a sudden infinitely better than 20 year old Pogba who played a crucial part in Juventus' Scudetto campaign, won the award for best player in the U-20 World Cup and is now working his way in to the France National team.
K then.

Re: Ramsey vs Pogba
I wouldn't hold my breath on ramseys form going down, its been the best part of 30 games since he got his act together. Hes put the injury in the past, hes back (at last) and he is here to stay. Hes not elite technically, but neither is pogba, and ramsey is just better at winning the ball, has ridiculous stamina and is a pretty good passer, he also would've been doing this long ago if he didn't have a horror injury.

Re: Ramsey vs Pogba
Ramsey.
The aspects that pogba excels at is at a higher level, but he hasnt the attitude to develop into an all round player.
Ramsey has that attitude.

Re: Ramsey vs Pogba
The hype is justified, you just have to see him play once you'll realize that his current form dictates that he's probably the best performing midfielder in the world at the moment.

Re: Ramsey vs Pogba
I dont care how many goals Ramsey scores.
I care about Pass % and how many interceptions he makes.
As for comparison ...

Re: Ramsey vs Pogba
'Who is Pogba'
Sums up the general idea when comparing one in-form player to a player people don't watch
Them not watching a player = player can't possibly be better than somebody they watch

Re: Ramsey vs Pogba
Pogba for me, better now and more potential. Pogba could easily be one of the best midfielders in Europe in a few years, don't think Ramsey will reach that level.

Re: Ramsey vs Pogba
^ That.
Nothing against Ramsey, clearly a very good player with a lot of potential, but he's got to do this over at least a year or two before being considered up there with the best.
