Re: UCL : Juventus vs Galatasaray
this funny, in the first half there was clear penalty on TEvez from the defender pushing him but now the smallest challenge got us penalty, there was contact and it was penalty but in the first half was more penalty than this one

No point blaming Pogba, he was average today but there were far worse performances on the pitch.

Isla on that second goal was absolutely disgusting. Nowhere near the box or the attacker who came in on his side.
Really horrid performance. No balance what so ever. Defending atrocious and attack is just as bad, just masked by the volume of the ball they're having in the opponent's end

Isla was at RB in the end? Thats just funny
And if you play a 4-3-3 then there is still a lack of a DMF.
Sad game though, awful week for Serie A.

Re: UCL : Juventus vs Galatasaray
Pogba needs consistency this is why I scream that Marchisio has to play in midfield, when Marchisio plays opponents lose to many balls in the middle of the field, we recover to many balls, Pogba is young he doesn't have the consistency for so many games and he can't play in important games like this its his he had 1 good game in the last 4 he needs to be benched, he is quality he is awesome player but he needs time. Llorente tbh pulled to many ppl on him. We were unlucky but I know that we are going trough to the next phase so I am not that nervous because simply we had no luckdronte wrote:No point blaming Pogba, he was average today but there were far worse performances on the pitch.

Re: UCL : Juventus vs Galatasaray
Guys 352 is fine, everything is fine
Those were two lucky goals
The problem is Marchisio. He wins way too many balls and we lose that power in the middle without him. I can't believe conte snubbed him for Pogba. We play really bad with Pogba Vidal pirlo
Like pathetic, hopeless long balls
Marchisio conte Marchisio please
And Llorente was pointless no matter what you fanboys say

3-5-2 is not fine
We created literally nothing with it
Infact, Hellas, Chievo, Copenhagen and now Gala have exploited the 3-5-2 and exploited the fact that if you park the bus against it, you can do wonders. Because we attack through 2 wide players who can't cross or dribble to save their lives.

As for defence...
Well play `10-0-0 or 3-0-7 for all it matters, because at the moment Buffon and Co are a joke. Lapses in concentration the likes of which were bad by our 2010 standards.

Re: UCL : Juventus vs Galatasaray
Very unlucky game First half we were losing and then we changed the result. It's again the same story we always let our opponents score first,we need to get rid of this situation.I can't forgive Bonucci, his mistake cost us 2 points,a wc defender should not make risky passes in front of an predator like Drogba. We knew they were going to park the bus and wait for our mistakes to counter. They defended very tightly near the box and didn't gave Tevez enough space to be a threat. But after Llorente came in we had more space near their box, also he had few chances to score headers.I think we should have started with Tevez - Llorente upfront, not with a injured Vucinic.Pogba had a average game but wasn't decisive, maybe playing Marchisio could been a better option.Quagliarella was too selfish and did nothing, just won a penalty.Chiellini was our best defender tonight,he had a great 2nd half, stopped many counters on the midfield. Our wingers were again one of our weak points. We tried to cross from the wing and long passes from the middle but they were useful because we didn't have Llorente. After scoring our second goal we had a chance to save the result by defending with more players.Galata was without Sneijder and probably had no chance to score against our tight defending, but we decided to keep attacking and sufferead another goal on counter-attack.

Re: UCL : Juventus vs Galatasaray
Agree with a lot of it but not about Quags
He was the goalscorer too so he got a goal + Penalty assist
He might not look impressive but he's our most effective European striker by some distance.

Re: UCL : Juventus vs Galatasaray
^Tom you are right,I had lot of things im my mind to post and i forgot he scored our second goal.He was decisive but sometimes he tried his long shots instead of passing.
Also i agree with your #36 post.Playing a 3-5-2 with poor wingers against teams who just park the bus adds nothing to our scoring chances. So why not adding a 3rd striker insead of 2 wingers who offer nothink to our attack?

i think quag and tevez had a good game. Isla cant play RB, but its not his problem, i think he had a decent game. Pogba had a bad game and Bonucci......welll.....
