Torino will attack, says Barzagli

Juventus’ Andrea Barzagli expects rivals Torino to give his side some space in the derby this weekend.

The Old Lady have come up against some conservative teams over the last few weeks, including Chievo last night.

“We created a host of chances against Chievo and doing that against a side who just defend isn’t easy,” the Italian international noted following the 2-1 win.

“Now we turn our attention to the derby, but I don’t think Torino will only be thinking about defending,” he added.

“Last year they played their own game, looking to catch us on the counter-attack. I think they’ll line up in the same way as us and go for it.”
