I track back quite well on the right, but not like I used to do at DM obviously, because stamina effects everything, you don't want all your attackers jogging about taking shit touches and shots from the 70th min upwards.

Defensively we can maybe defend how Atletico do in real life.

Both CF's always get behind the ball in our half to make it harder for the other team to play.

Wingers track back and form a line with the 2 CM's to make 2 lines of 4 when defending.

Wingers stay as close to the CM's as possible, to block the middle.

When we lose the ball in the opposition's third of the pitch, we press. If they escape out of the press into the middle third, we return to our original shape. At the same time forcing them out wide to slow down the counter-attack.

Sounds ok in theory, but you're not taking into account how lack of stamina will leave our attackers with a massive decline in pace, shooting, passing w/e.

We could work on our shape, yes. But having your most advanced players spend so much time in their own half is too much on FIFA. Unless you're tiny and have mad stamina.

Striker and the CAM shouldn't track back much. ST should press the CBs and the CAM should come deep to collect the ball but not track back. Save the stamina for those two.

Also, one of the winger should not track as much as the other one. A DM should cover the fullback on the side where the winger is high up. It's better for the counter attacks and stamina

Put me as Striker because MT is like DMzema and he makes up for my lack of tracking back.

And I'd like some more chances at corners I think out of the 5 corners Ive taken we have scored from like 3 directly or at least 1 off of a rebound

Yeh stamina's a problem. However pros don't need to sprint in order to track back. Just moving the player into the defensive shape would work.

That would be the most basic tracking back system, which has worked at times, but not always.

I'm game for getting into a shape

Attacking wise, I think we should try counter-attacking first. With possession we'll face 5 at the back teams and it's impossible getting through.

On the counter-attack one of the 5 CB's always commits, meaning we end up facing a 4 man defense, which is easier. Plus with the recent patch it's about counter-attacking and pace anyway.

I'll try any again later, probably get wrecked in better divisions but I don't play possession football and we were making at a minimum 10 clear chances per game, just need to work on the finishing some was horrendous lol

MT u finding it impossible to go up to 88 at CAM? I've got like 15 accomplishemtsn since 87 and it won't go up ffs. I'm coming on in 45 mins, hope so ppl are on.

We need 1 striker who's gonna make runs and another who holds the ball up, drops deeper and roams to the wing etc.

Also one of the strikers should be tall enough to head from long clearances/passes and crosses.
