Barca's strategy has always been to cash on their star players at the first sign of decline. The rumor might not have any credibility to it but if history counts for something i wouldnt be surprised if Messi moved at the end of this season.

no one says he will retire there just that some ridiculous guy saying Messi is going out next season is laughable, besides Messi has stated he wants to retire in Argentina

i definitely dont think he will leave this winter, and i highly highly doubt he would leave this summer, BUT PSG have the funds, and they really are building quite the squad- it could be appealing.

i wouldnt be surprised if he looked for a new challenge.

Messi has stated like 10000x he wants to stay at Barca until he leaves....which will be back to play in Argentina. I seriously doubt he just up and leaves us now any time soon....shit he even has an Argentinian coach/staff working at the Camp Nou now. Dude is like a god with us, no reason to leave. So all these rumors about him going out are just ridiculous.

I have no doubt Koke will leave either in the summer or next season but I think he will go to barca rather than anywhere else

Messi is Barcelona's biggest start and he does generate a lot of cash, but do you think that the new cash cow aka narman would be able to establish himself as his own brand in the shadow of Messi ? Not really, no one would pay pay a shit load of money for a guy who isnt even the biggest in his team. So why not cash on Messi at his peak value and let the more marketable cash cow take his place ?

if messis injury concern continues that could be used as an excuse if he decides to sell him. As for now Messi is barca's best player and there is no need to sell him just to make way for Rossells new puppy

its like saying sell Ronaldo because Bale is here now. It does not make any sense. You can make cash by having both players in the same team though but it will effect the football if their ego get in their way

The only reason Kaka survived at our club for so long was because we actually made money of him. In the end it was he who decided to leave. This is the same kaka that couldn't even get off the bench ffs

Merchandise wise Barca will be fine with both
