Are you sure he's going to be an undisputed starter? The last times I've seen him playing were with Inter where he was deployed on the left wing almost all the time, with Mou as the coach (even with Leonardo's 4-3-1-2 he spent a lot of time in that area) but he should have an easier competition for the ST spot. Will he start against Everton?

Yeah but Milito was a beast and a better finisher than Eto'o. Also coupled with the fact that Eto'o is/was fast as feck.

In our squad he's defo a ST.

Before Eto'o, Lukaku was our best striker easily. He is still 20. Eto'o shouldn't have any problems.

I heard he was a pretty selfish player, but he is a striker so he needs that mentality. I think there were rumors about this as the reason why the ibra-eto switch happened, but there was a change in who's playing style once he joined inter. He mostly played as second striker or winger and supported the team. I think ultimately when he joined anzhi, I think he might have felt top dog because he was earning so much and also a much better footballer than anyone on the team, and can prolly see frustration that his teammates aren't on par with him and wanted to see things his way haha. Either way I can't see him like that at Chelsea.

What I think it comes down to is that both aren't scoring but Eto'o has better movement than Torres so he looks better.

Take it easy guys. Striker is as good as the service he gets. There was none to either of them. Don't jump to conclusions on a single match.
