1: Hellas Verona v Milan
Thoughts?
Line-ups?
Predictions?
Muntari is suspended and NDJ is injured apparently.
I think we will see this:
Verona 0-2 Milan.

Re: 1: Hellas Verona v Milan
If racist chants, jeers and whatnot are present, i genuinely think that we will be abandoning the game (ala Sassuolo and Pro Patria)
If we don't then i still think we will have a hard time with them, their stadium is sold out for the first time in 11 years and the fans will look to give us a hard time.
Though it really shouldn't be a hectic match, ultimately, i think it'll end in our favor
Hellas 1-3 Milan

Re: 1: Hellas Verona v Milan
I think some players might best rested. It's a good thing our first two fixtures are against weak teams, the PSV tie is the most important. I think we will seen Constant, Nocerino and Poli in the starting line up given how they were in the bench against PSV. Maybe Silvestre or Zaccardo could play for CB, though that is more unlikely.
Hope the racism is'nt too bad.

What happened to the 4-3-1-2? Was that meant for Honda?

Black players need to understand that leaving the stadium is not have you face a problem. They should talk to the reff and point to where the problem is, and perhaps get a security guard up there or something to make sure it does not happen again without a consequence. Leaving the field never solved a god damn thing.M99 wrote:I think some players might best rested. It's a good thing our first two fixtures are against weak teams, the PSV tie is the most important. Both Boateng and Poli confirmed to miss this match, but they should be fit for PSV.
Also Verona already making excuses for racism
Also Verona already making excuses for racism
Verona mayor Flavio Tosi has claimed that AC Milan star Mario Balotelli provokes racists with his behaviour on the pitch.
Tosi, a member of the Lega Nord party, made the comments ahead of this weekend's Serie A game between Hellas Verona and the Rossoneri as fears have been raised about potential racist incidents.
Verona fans have been punished for such behaviour in the past, yet Tosi hopes that there will not be a repeat incident during Saturday's match versus Balotelli's Milan and has called on the Italy international to tone down his antics.
"Will I reassure Balotelli about coming to Verona? There are two aspects here," Tosi told reporters. "One is the fans, the other is the club that has always worked hard to improve the behaviour of the fans. If someone acts like a cretin, he'll be in the minority.
"However, if Balotelli provoked people a bit less, then it would be even better. There are many black players, but not all of them stoke the ire of the opposition fans and most have no problems.
"Balotelli is very good at making himself unlikeable."
Saturday's encounter is scheduled to kick off at 18:00CET.

Allegri: "The midfield could be Poli-Montolivo-Nocerino but De Jong can also play from the start."
Allegri: "The team has players that are ideal for 4-3-3, then during the course of the game we'll see if we can play with a trequartista."

It would be wise to leave as many black players out of this as possible. Boateng is too emotional for this kind of crowdM99 wrote:Both Boateng and Poli confirmed to miss this match, but they should be fit for PSV.

Re: 1: Hellas Verona v Milan
I'm really looking forward to this game, partly as this will be first match of our team that I'll watch as it unfolds.
We should win, even if not a full strength side is put out. I want to see better tactical discipline compared to Tuesday.

That would be conceding defeat to the racists. The players need to channel their energy into the game.Eivindo wrote:It would be wise to leave as many black players out of this as possible. We were great in the first 20 minutes, but then looked lethargic. Hopefully the players are back in it for the 2nd half
