Valencia looking terrific
I watched Valencia vs. Inter and Olympiakos and they play great. Watch out on Banega and Jonathan Vieira this season. Djukic have them playing extremely fast and creative passing game. Only problem is they are not great defensively.
What do you think of Valencia so far Che and other Valencia fans (not Hispano who is a Madrid fan).
pd. I know this are just friendlies.

Re: Valencia looking terrific
The club is in trouble financially and not making it to Champions League this season certainly hurts more. Valencia's best player, Soldado is gone now and you wonder if Cissokho will follow the same route to EPL. Tino Costa is gone to Russia as well. In fact there is a strong trend of Liga players leaving Spain for other countries for more money.
Romeu will take over Tino Costa's place, but let's face it he can not replace the Argentine. I never liked Postiga, so he is also a massive downgrade to Soldado.
Of the new guys, I really like Fede Cartabia. He is a raw talent with thunderous left foot shots. I'm sure Đukić will ease him into the first team slowly. Míchel and Javi Fuego will be gambles in strengthening the midfield and Alcácer is back after a poor season on loan in Getafe.
Still, there is hope for Los Che to make it to Champions League next season due to lack of competition for 4th spot (Sociedad being the only direct competitor) with Atlético claiming third place again. I don't see Málaga, Betis or Sevilla challenging Valencia for CL spot.

Re: Valencia looking terrific
Agreed with all of this. That FEde kid looked fantastic partnered with Ever and Viera yesterday, I didn't even know they had an Argentine in their cantera, I will keep watch on him, he looks very talented. They should be able to challenge for fourth despite not getting very good replacements, as you said there is no competitiondanyjr wrote:The club is in trouble financially and not making it to Champions League this season certainly hurts more. Re: Valencia looking terrific
Etoo would do nothing for Valencia, waste of money, nd waste of time.
As good as he might still be, he wont take them over RM or barca, let alone Atletico. they are better off getting their new gen of players ready, while saving up their good money.

Re: Valencia looking terrific
I dont know about the transfer fee, but you would have to do that and add another 2-3 year contract starting at least at 6 millions... hmm no.

Re: Valencia looking terrific
I doubt about the lack of competition for 4th spot. Sociedad surprised all last season. Without Soldado (or a proven goal-scorer), Valencia is very vulnerable. Fact is without CL money they will only get weaker.

They are stronger than last season, at least stronger than Pellegrino's Valencia.

I agree. They are better off rotating Paco with Postiga than splashing cash on Eto'o at this pointMr Nick09 wrote:Etoo would do nothing for Valencia, waste of money, nd waste of time.
