Not with the idea of getting another older striker.

Better give Boakye a chance to develop here.

My thinking was get him in there with tevez for the next 2 years it will give us a chance to win the champions league also bring back boakye and use him for cup games or easy league games. boakye can learn off the best. Also shame we let Quintero go off to Porto im watching Porto vs Napoli and this kid can play

He's too old and, honestly, there is no way he will take a pay cut. Plus, do we really want a guy that takes a paycut from 20m to 5m? I'm guessing he won't be giving much effort at that point.
