I think Ronaldo really wants to be the best, like any competitive player, competing with Messi. Now Neymar comes around, Bale. If they all perform better then him he will be 4th in the world by next season ballon d'or, I would be pissed off as well.

I dont know if that was just normal practise with these professional players I guess.... or was that something to be taken seriously between Ronaldo and Bale? If so, I cant wait, hope they develop a rivalry and destory each other XD

No chance of that, not this season. Those two are not on Cristiano's level and wont be untill Cristiano declines.

Cristiano that take in king will rack up those stats so fast its untrue, meanwhile Bale is completely new as is Neymar.

The eye test is the only hope for those two, not stats.

Madrid need help in the midfield right now, they basically got ran over by Villarreal in the midfield. Modric has looked good, but looked horrible and Illarramendi didn't offer much either.

Benzema :facepalm:

I would just scrap Benzema and play:

--------Ronaldo---------
Bale-----Isco----Di Maria

Or rotate Ronaldo and Isco. However, to be fair, all of those players are interchangeable.

4-2-3-1 isn't the system played is currently. Also Ronaldo prefers playing as a left forward playing off another striker, not as a lone forward.

Benzema's actually done fine this season, it's just against Villarreal he had a poor game.

If Madrid don't play a 4/2/3/1 then which system do they play?

Only other thing you could call it is a 4/3/3 with a diamond which is still essentially a 4/2/3/1 just the role of the forward and SS/CAM is different.

He hasn't had it easy because his pre-season was disrupted and then he got the injury. If you talk to him you can tell he is very excited about playing and being part of the team.
