On topic: CR7+Bale makes a box crushing duo with lots of scoring ability but little creativity. Messi+Nerman will suffer against physical PTB but are far more creative. Honestly, Farca needed someone physical like Bale and we Nerman on the other wing :coffee:

Yorke's first training (he said this in an interview), Roy Keane, in one of those "piggy in the middle" training schemes took him to the cleaners with a real hard tackle. Apparently it was to see what stuff Yorke was made out of. Since he grew up on provisions and fish, he is a tough cookie to crack.

I would like to assume such a robust challenge from Cristiano was in the same thought pattern as Keane had with the exception being Cristiano simply can't tackle (see opening match Euro 2004 vs Greece).

Sorry but if I had just brought in a player for all that money, and I seen another player pull that shit (Especially when it's a Winger who's rarely done anything like that in an ACTUAL game) I'd be f*cking pissed.

I think Ronaldo really wants to be the best, like any competitive player, competing with Messi. Now Neymar comes around, Bale. If they all perform better then him he will be 4th in the world by next season ballon d'or, I would be pissed off as well.
