I'm not a huge fan of most premiership teams but I like them and Swansea as they both try and play good football. Although info enjoy watching most of the games.

Weimann is very good player and is under rated by many people, if he could become more clinical he will be an excellent player when he's older. And Benteke is just quality.
How do they play good football? They struggle to string more than 2-3 passes together at a time and hope that Benteke can pull off some magic to save them.
so your just going off of what you watched last night and came up with this assumption? when they aren't playing top 4 teams they play excellent football
Nah I watched their opening game aswell, got alot of friends that are villa fans.

I'm seriously amazed at the praise they are getting, granted they didn't do too badly against us and Arsenal but without Benteke they are a championship side.

I wouldn't go that far, it's not like Fulham shouldn't be on the board right now as well. Arsenal scoring goals has never been their problem, it's that they are ridiculously porous when they attempt to play team defense. That obviously hasn't changed. A good team could be winning this game right now the way Arsenal are giving up good looks in the final third.

With that said, you can throw all of that out for rivalry games.

There's not that much of a difference between Giroud and Higuain.

Giroud is a flat-track bully.

Only scores against the small teams.

I think Giroud will be great this year, the guy always manages to get in great positions, it's just a matter of putting away more of his chances than he misses.

Arsenal are actually losing out on goals overall anyways because Podolski bought into that Wenger "team concept" and lost some of that edge that made him a god in the Bundesliga.

Oh, and if someone could teach this Taarabt kid how to tighten up his passing he could be a ridiculously good player.

I hate to use "football math", but does this mean Sunderland is a pretty good team, because they completely shut down Fulham and Arsenal, while winning, aren't exactly shutting Fulham down at all.
