i was talk about with peope that they were think that Alonso was poor defender & shocking tackle, i was try to say that i did not see that at Liverpool, the way we payed, Alonso was last line in midfield player who was cover the defensive, were Mascherano role was not to help with the defensive his job was to help the attacking side, as his job win the ball & give it the attacking players as fast he can

as for Real Sociedad i did not know what Alonso role was
