Nope, they aren't, even though it's debatable. But you need to get over the fact that RM are better than United. Have been for quite some time now. And so are City. Just cause you are blind as a bat and can't see how others have improved while United regressed doesn't mean it isn't so.
Also, Borussia, my friend, your team is average. You can make all 40 of your posts in this thread, throw as many insults as you want, but come next season you'll be starting your way back to the CL anonymity of the last decade.

They outplayed you 3 times and in one demolished your team but they are not better. Yea City are better than us and we beat them by how many points again? Even your manager said we were better over the 2 legs
Madrid fans were starting to have sensible debates again, good to see you bringing them back to form

Yp, that's the way to do it, throw in a couple of pathetic claims, some random statements, one or two smilies and a LOL here and there and all your BS arguments are well supported, right? Why don't you just go do what ManU fans do best and go back to eating some prawn sandwiches, OK?

Stating that Dortmund outplayed Real Madrid in 3 of 4 matches in last year's CL is not a pathetic claim, it is a fact.

Are you all a bit slow or what? What kind of a Twilight zone forum is this?*** A pathetic claim is when you take results between two teams as the sole measurement of team's strength. Were we better than Barca last year? Because we sure as hell got the better out of head to head results.
And how about he himself making a mockery out of his own claim by saying United are better than RM even though we took them out of the CL.

ManU are flat track bullies.
They dominate against the smaller teams, thats why they always win the league easy.
They are out-played every single time they play against top teams in England.

Arsenal and Liverpool are not top, top teams anymore. Come on. And every time you lot go to Anfield, you are getting out-played. Luckily, Mark Halsey helped you last season.
Chelsea won 3 out of 5 matches against ManU last season, and City has won 3 of the last 4 PL matches against ManU.(only ManU win was a injury-time winner)

We beat city when it mattered. They beat us when we had wrapped u the league, same as chelsea. The chelsea one i can admit, we have always had a problemem beating them, even in 2008.

LOL anonymity of the last decade. The irony, that's exactly what RM is despite the constant hype around them, they prove nothing.

WOW you say you can't decide which team is better based on head to head encounters yet you say this. Yet it doesn't imply when Dortmund outplay and beat you more than once. They also did so without initially falling behind on the scoreboard, looking clueless in attack and being outplayed by their opposition until their opposition got a undeserving red card.
P.S.
I didn't even know this was place originated from goal.com forums. It doesn't matter anyway, people here seem to look at goal.com sources as a joke, often referring to it as "lol.com".

Re: Which are the strongest teams in Europe now after the latest transfers ?
I think there's two different meanings here.
First one is which club is better based on H2H's.
Second one is which club is better overall. As in who has more resources, more power etc.

This thread is about which are the best TEAMS.
Nothing to do with the general and no such a thing as a "better club".
At this point in time it goes.
1. Bayern 2. Dortmund 3. Barca 4. Madrid 5. Juventus 6. Man Utd
Based on last season, you have to PROVE you are better than teams above where your station was last year to be considered better.
Transfers mean nothing, until you prove it out on the pitch.
So until that changes, the best teams of last season are exactly where they were.

Re: Which are the strongest teams in Europe now after the latest transfers ?
That ranking would be based on just results.
In this thread it seems like some people are arguing who's better overall and some who was better last season.
For example if Levante won the treble next season, would they be considered overall better than Real Madrid, Barcelona, Man Utd, Bayern etc? They wouldn't, however based on results for that season they would.

What does that even mean? This isn't about who has the bigger brand name, most revenue or greater history. If Levante won every trophy including CL and convincingly beat every team including other elite teams, they must have some pretty amazing team and yes they would be the best in the world.

Yeh they would be the best in the World for that season. However overall they wouldn't be better than all those big clubs.

Yeah but Overall surely means you're taking the past into account
It's all nice and well having a great history, but history doesn't help you on the pitch in the present
Ajax have a much better European history than Arsenal for example, but most people would back Arsenal every time against Ajax.
