and that is why Fabio is not trusted....too erratic in his challenges, get's caught up in emotion and starts lunging...Rafael used to be the same way, but he has matured his game

Hernandez is shit at finding players when he holds up the ball....ffs Moyes just keeps on letting teams who never won at OT win.....record breaker he sure is, the wrong records
I swear to god if we don't buy a single player this month I have no faith anymore in this idiot

Fabio's Man Utd career is over, feel for him, but it was so stupid.
Buttner was our best attacking player today says it all.
Swansea were so shit, and we have to play them next week again
Moyes

Re: Manchester United 2013/2014 Premier League Season (+ CC & FA Cup)
The team is in dissaray. Managed by a mid table manager completely out of his depth, who can't seem to motivate or instill any type of belief in the squad.
I know we are playing poorly, but there is no way that this team is as shit as what is being shown on the field, or what the league table is showing.
Something rotten is brewing at the core of this team. Players are playing as though they are shackled, no clear gameplan other than hoofing it wide to an out of form winger and full backs. Nothing else.
We are sinking lower and lower and I can't see this squad improving unless we invest this month...urgently. We need to save our season before it completely collapses.
I know we have major injuries...but even with Rooney, Jones and RVP, we were still playing uninspiring football, grinding games out through individual efforts and set pieces. Somehting needs to change.
To lose 2 home matches back to back again, against 2 teams we should be beating, is completely fcked up. That is 5 home defeats at OT in half the season already.
SAF, for all the right he's done at the club, should never have been given the role of picking out his successor. He chose with his heart, rather than mind. That 'wee Brave loyal Scotsman'- The biggest reason SAF chose him was his nationality imo. To uphold the long standing tradition of this club in employing a lot Scottish managers- rather than Moyes' way of managing (method of play, success). Blaming SAF right now is hindsight... But that decision at this moment looks absolutely horrible.
Out of the FA cup in the 3rd round, at OT, to Swansea City. Let that marinate for a sec.
/rant!
Oh and Fabio's red card was more to do with the fact that he just doesn't give a f*ck anymore. And why should he?

Re: Manchester United 2013/2014 Premier League Season (+ CC & FA Cup)
"You have to stand by your new manager", this is getting increasingly harder to do with each passing day.
The team is in shambles, no cohesion whatsoever, the attacking display is terrible; this is more than players not playing well, this is tactical failure.
On top of that, seems like we aren't going to buy anyone this winter, and with the high probability we won't qualify for the CL (I will put money on that in a few days) it will be even harder to get some good players. What is the appeal in playing for Manchester United ? No SAF anymore, a pretty bad city compared to London/Paris/Barcelona/Madrid, and usually less wages than in the clubs from those cities.
Rooney is probably off this summer, RVP is quite old, if now was bad, imagine what it will be next season if we keeps Moyes around and the results stay like this.
Another thing on which SAF *bleep* us over (the first one being choosing Moyes) is the terrible midfield we had to endure for the last 3-4 years. "No value in the market" is a stupid excuse, look at the number of amazing midfielders that changed clubs in those last seasons. Yaya Toure, Vidal, Fernandinho, Silva, Mata, Paulinho. Maybe it would even be time to ditch that 4-4-2 as that would allow us to reach a higher pool of players. Pure wingers are rare now, and even more rare are people capable of performing in a 2 man midfield. When Rooney will be gone, we will get absolutely battered in the center of the pitch if we keep playing 4-4-2 as he was actually like a 3rd midfielder.
I respect SAF, he's the greatest ever for me, I cried when he bowed to the crowd when we beat Chelsea, thus confirming our title, but picking Moyes is on the same level as recruiting Djemba-Djemba or Bebe.
I am getting tired of people saying "give him time", "oh you're quitting so soon you're not a real fan" and all that shit. Things need to be said, and I would have booed the hell out of Moyes had I been at OT today. You can't turn the team that was just champion into whatever we are now seeing. I'm sure Giggs would have been a better fit, he's actually respected as a winner, and the fact he was able to transfer his skills from left-wing to the center of the pitch shows he knows his football.
Terrible perfomance with a terrible coach, whose previous team are at the moment outperforming the results he had with them. Speaks about itself.

Re: Manchester United 2013/2014 Premier League Season (+ CC & FA Cup)
Spot on Azzures, it's not simply a lack of quality his tactics are a shambles. RED, posted in another thread that we have last in attacks through the middle in the league. Beyond words...
Failure to drop Valencia, consistently playing Kagawa on the left and I defended him on Zaha, but he doesn't even play cup matches like WTF. He doesn't learn how many games does he need, because obviously more time isn't doing anything. We haven't beaten a team in the top 8 this season bar Arsenal, terrible. If we were dishing out good performances, yet losing, at least there would be a sense direction of where we're going. Everything about him is negative, his tactics, his line-up, even his press conferences.
I have to agree with RED, he was hired because he was Scottish, even though SAF denies it in his book, I still think it was a major factor. SAF says something about one of the reasons hiring Moyes was that Scottish people that leave their country are the ones that want to be successful (I'm paraphrasing here might not be entirely accurate).

Re: Manchester United 2013/2014 Premier League Season (+ CC & FA Cup)
Glad to see you posting, Azzurres. Completely agree.
Our style of play irks me just as much as the poor results. There seems to be no game plan whatsoever other than knocking it to Valencia.
Consistently playing Smalling at RB, when we have a proper RB in Fabio. It doesn't make sense other than the fact that it is a cowardice method used to help us deal with opposition attackers (height wise) than helping us offensively. Smalling can't pass to save his life, can't cross or dribble. Playing him along with an out of sorts Valencia completely negates our attacking threat down the right. Yet Moyes insists on playing Smalling.
Over playing Evra. Up until today, Evra practically featured in all our games, every comp. We all know Evra is a liability defensively, but when he too knackered to even make those bursting runs forward, he is pretty much pointless. Again, another bizzare reason as to why Fabio has been shunned when he was needed.
Getting rid of all SAF's backroom staff. There's no telling if had they stayed we would be doing better, but there is no doubt the transition would have been smoother, and would have set up a strong platform for us to improve. Imagine you're a CL/PL winner and you're being coached by Steve Round and P.Neville.. I doubt there is much respect there tbh.

I still think what he did was stupid. However, throughout the match, the other players showed a lack of urgency to get the ball from the other team, he showed more urgency and desire in that 4 mins than any other player, the problem was he showed too much fire in the end. Fought for the shirt, can't say that for many of the other players.

Does Man U take Capital One seriously? After Moyes's defeat in the FA cup, would he field a decent team in the Capital One to defeat Sunderland ( who does well in cup games)?

Re: Manchester United 2013/2014 Premier League Season (+ CC & FA Cup)
valencia should be sold first and if possible in this Jan window itself.
He is starting to show he doesnt care a faak. Such irresponsible conduct on the pitch. Simply unacceptable.
At least other players are trying desperately. Where as this beep is focussing on getting sent off early.
0-1 at half time. Yet another exit to a uber weak team. Well ....What can we say.

Nothing to be said, I'm actually starting to feel pity for Moyes. He looks so lost after every defeat, poor guy has been put into something he wasn't prepared for due to a bad, BAD decision from SAF.

Haven't lost 3 consective games in a row for 13 years. Moyes breaking records and shit
Cleverley has played 8 games in 24 days so he's going to play shitter than the normal shit he spews
Second leg is also at home, where we're incredibly even worse

Mats Moller Daehli from Molde FK to Cardiff
Solksjaer bringing our goat youth product with him from Molde
