quite baffling indeed.
But instead of urgency there were very much signs of panic. We were trying to force passes in the 2nd half. And that is clearly a sign of panic.
May be thanks to this fuk up of a season, players lacking any sort of confidence that art of channelling the aggression the right way when things are not going for us is missing. Hopefully when things do start clicking we can see urgency in our game instead of panic.

Honestly, what is the point of bringing on Giggs (with all due respect)? If ever there were a time to give Kagawa a run out, this would be it

I agree, no reason to bringing on Giggs instead of Kagawa. Like for like swap, Kagawa in for Mata on tuesday, please no Valencia or Young.

Kudos to Fellaini, that is the most like a footballer he's looked in a United shirt.

I think it's personal. He doesn't like Kagawa.

Re: Manchester United 2013/2014 Premier League Season (+ CC & FA Cup)
kagawa 's career as a man u player is over. Moyes has made his mind not to give him minutes any more.
And quite ironically the player he himself signed in the winter window is going to become another kagawa, obvious signs are showing.
Mata has not been comfortable at all today in that right wing role moyes asked him to play in the first half. Exactly similar to kagawa when mata is switched to a free role in the centre he became a beast.
Now he has no one to blame. Unlike kagawa scenario where he can very much afford to ostracise him as he wasnt the one who signed the Jap, here moysie has no where to hide.
He HAS to make the choice, either mata or rooney.

Re: Manchester United 2013/2014 Premier League Season (+ CC & FA Cup)
Fantastic Performance
Fellaini against Palace was a great decision. Totally nullified their physicality and aerial threat and bossed the midfield. Absolutely bossed the game, Maourane. I noticed he played as an auxilary AM, joining in the box when attacking.
It was a great tactic against a team like Palace who are terrible on counter attack, but be interesting to see if Fellaini will keep his free role in Greece.
A few years ago, when he was still playing for Standard Liege, A old man showed me Fellaini and said, he reminds him a bit of Sokratis. I think we saw some glimpses of that.
Same team, with Young Replacing Mata (Cup-Tied), for Olympiacos game IMO.

feeling sad for ogs. prick vincent tan will probably sack him by tomorrow morning I guess.
Then again a really poor decision on his part to opt for this job in the first place to work under a LOL like Tan.
And I still believe he is gonna be a great coach in the future.

To be honest mate, his whole approach has been terrible.
When you're in middle of a relegation fight, you don't buy all the young players in the world in January and get rid of veterans who have experience dealing with the pressure. Not to mention, it was plain obvious Cardiff lacked a proven goal scorer, and out of the 7 deals he did in January, only Jones came as striker.,
they've got a total of 4 points in 4 home 6 POINTERS vs. West Ham, Norwich, Villa and Hull. and looking at their remaining fixtures for the season, can't see them getting more than 30 points in the league. Think they are done.

yea I know.
But that makes we wonder whether they are going to actually stick with him even if cardiff get relegated. A rich overhaul of the team filling it up with youngsters clearly suggest one eye to the future. And I am inclined to believe he wouldnt have done that without the board and even the owner's consent, such a drastic change in personnels. sort of playing with the fire especially considering the position they are in.
May be they knew what they were doing ? His working with youngsters attribute is really top notch. So may be one season in the championship and then from there on a promising rise into the premier league with the all these youngsters gaining experience and delivering. But with vincent tan at the helm of the club though yea looking very less likely of that happening.
Apart from this not so intelligent signings and selection everything else including his attitude, mannerisms, demeanour, positivism, and all are good qualities.
Watched an interview of his yesterday in tv and oh boy, he was an absolute delight with all his answers, oozed class , complete contrast to what our chosen one vomits each time in front of a mic.
So that makes me believe he is going to be a really good coach in the long run.
