ADV sets Jovetic ultimatum

Fiorentina warned “we won’t wait much longer” for Juventus to offer €30m cash for Stevan Jovetic after Manchester City showed an interest.

The player has said he wants to join the Bianconeri, but so far negotiations have fallen flat.

“They can give us €30m cash or nothing at all. Otherwise, we’ll give him to someone else,” declared President Andrea Della Valle on Mediaset Premium.

“It’s time to understand whether Juve have the money or not. I think they do. We will not accept players in part-exchange.

“We won’t wait much longer...”

This can be considered an ultimatum to Juventus, using Manchester City’s interest to put further pressure on the Turin giants.

Della Valle also commented on Fiorentina’s capture of Bayern Munich centre-forward Mario Gomez.

“The negotiations were important and difficult, but he was the one we were missing in Vincenzo Montella’s side.”

We obviously have the money... But marrota is too stupid. Look at how he will feel when Man City ruins that piece of business... Your relationship with Fiorentina is bad? It does not make a difference, because La Viola are not selling for less!

Marotta is not stupid. the kid is not worthy of 30m cash.

He is worth that much. Just wait for him, until he becomes one of the best in the world. Give him 3-4 years

Juventus can afford to buy him even for 30m cash but it seems that they also believe he is overpriced. I love to have him on our squad however now that we have tevez and llorente I wont be sad if he ends up elsewhere.
I still believe finding a vice Pirlo is more important. we need a playmaker more than jojo.

Playmaker? Its too early to have a vice-pirlo. We have pogba, and marrone as well. Jojo wants juve only, and we cant break his heart like we did to verrati. We will start to lose out on players this way. Jojo will impress you if he ends up in another team... Just look at aguero

regarding playmaker, I don't see that as an early action. If you analyze the last season whenever Pirlo was tired or out of form or on bench we had problems creating chances. good examples are games against Lazio in coppa italia and against Roma in serie a. Pirlo is too old to play more than once a week and for that we should have a backup.
and about jojo, It is normal to see players love to play for Juve especially after building such powerful squad. Juve is a tempting project being Italy's power house and a threat to every CL contender.
marotta is proved to be disastrous in offloading players so Juve needs time to offload some strikers first before going for jojo cause after buying jojo teams wont pay much for our current unfavored strikers knowing that we have to sell them anyway.

Of course, we must offload Matri and/or Quag if we want to get Jojo. Also, we could sell Vuci at a high price to get him.
Regards the playmaker debate, who could we buy as a back up? Which World class signing would want to sit in the bench to be Pirlo's guard? WE can use MV(Pogba) instead of pirlo when pirlo is tired. And yeah, pirlo will of course play less this season. We must adapt to play without him, because he will not last forever... Like someone said in the other thread, we will find another way to adapt.

I agree with you it is difficult to find a good playmaker ready to sit on the bench most of the time, however that was one of our main problems last season. we have to find a solution or we face the same. 4-3-3 may work though.

4-3-3 may work in defence and MF, but I see that Our attack would struggle in that formation.. Vucinic isn't that good at LW when he played last season (2011-2012)...
