In Germany the stars are very complicated, the reason of which is that the BL started in 1963/64, but there have been also champions of the time before, plus champions of the GDR.

To cut the stuff short - in the BL you get 1 star for 3+ titles, 2 stars for 5+ titles, 3 stars for 10+ titels and 4 stars for 20+ titles.
