Viola have to sell Jovetic to get Gomez

Fiorentina will have to sell Stevan Jovetic if they are to buy Mario Gomez from Bayern Munich, reports have suggested.

The Viola are said to be keen on bringing in the German forward this summer, with the player himself admitting that he would ‘like to play in Serie A’.

But according to Corriere dello Sport, Vincenzo Montella’s men will have to off-load the Montenegrin if they are to sign the Bayern striker.

Jovetic did look set to join Juventus, with the Bianconeri reportedly making a number of bids for the 23-year-old.

However, with the Old Lady signing Manchester City’s Carlos Tevez, that move looks to be in doubt.
