GTFI!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My only concern with Mignolet coming in was his ability with the ball and his feet. He has a 87% pass rate for "long" balls ffs.
He also states:

He also states:
"Back in Belgium, the goalies always train to play with the ball at their feet," he said. "We join in most of the time, playing more with our feet than with our hands. I'm used to this.

Exactly. He's great in the air / commanding the box, a great shot stopper and solid with his feet. He's also very solid one on one and knows when to run off his line to put pressure on the opposition attacker. What more can you ask for ffs? He's also one of the best "young" keepers in the world.

Re: MIG no let in goals || Mignolet
Would be very happy about this signing if we really needed a new GK, now I'm merely happy
Because of Reina. It's a little sad to think that Reina could be departing in the same window now or otherwise we'll be left with quite an "interesting" arrangement of having two keepers who should probably both be number ones.
Anyway, looking forward to seeing Migi in our goal!

McAgger, you came up with that thread title, btw MIG is a very old Russian fighter plane. After reading his interview, that name actually suits him

In no way very old. MiG29 is a G4 multi-role cobmat aircraft which is the mainstay of many (including Russia) airforce. They have also tested the G4+/G5 version (MiG35) which will compete with F111.
But yes all model upto MiG27 are being phased-out.

Re: MIG no let in goals || Mignolet
MiG is actually the abbreviation for a Russian (Soviet at the time) aircraft company, rather than a specific aircraft. The company's original name was Mikoyan-and-Gurevich Design Bureau, which was abbreviated as "MiG" before the title of the company was changed; and the abbreviation stuck. All of the jets and other aircraft they made received the MiG designation as well as a number code to identify the model. The production models were also assigned English code-names for identification by NATO allies during and following the Cold War.

A "MIG 22" is a rifle so it's still all good.
But yeah, the MIG-29 is a Soviet aircraft. Learnt that from Red Alert.

Re: MIG no let in goals || Mignolet
Should've traded Borini. I might've lost it had he ended up as Mig 29 or even Mig 35.
Off-topic:
It's been a while since I regularly kept up with experimental/state-of-the-art Russian aircraft design. However, I could've sworn the MIG 35 was supposed to incorporate a canard design, much like the SAAB Viggen.

Reina will be the starter until he makes a mistake and costs Liverpool a game then he'll ride the pine except for cup matches.
Liverpool would be smart to move him out now why his value is at its highest. Liverpool should float the idea of sending Reina to Roma who need a quality keeper.
