A few that sticks in my mind are Tim Cahill volley, VP's header, and Croatia's left player who ran half the field Razz

The best is pretty obvious one, from half the pitch, eight opponents behind the ball.

Although Cahill's volley was pretty nice. Generally I think quality of goals have been pretty awful.

I think that's about right, mertens goal against Algeria was quite good too. Messis goal where he dribbled past 1 player was pretty nice too.

RVP's is one of the best goals in the history of the WC, no contention.We see Messi and Cahill's type of goals season and season out.You also have to take into consideration how important that goal was and against who.

all of them goat though, that Robben goal where he leaves Iker crawling like a little shit is also amazing

Cavani's nice deft lob over the defender right onto Suarez's head and then Suarez curling it with his head past Joe Hart just does it for me.

argh , i hate this argument .

you can say the same thing about suarez's header... the defense should've been more vigilant than to get completely  taken out by cavani's pass.

Jesus Christ some people here. I love Suarez but van Persies header was just unreal. One of the very best headers I've ever seen. So far my goal of the tournament and it's not even a contest. Doesn't mean goals like that from Messi or the header from Suarez were bad as in fact they were very good and nice to watch (I'd probably put both of them in a top 5 so far) but the header was just something really special.
