Re: The TV Series Thread - Part 2
LOST was the GOAT show at the time, those twists and turn, definitely declined in latter seasons but by then you're hooked and just want to see the end. Having a couple of years to reflect and catching up on some superb shows like Justified, I definitely think it wasn't that amazing, but it will always be in my top 3 for the nostalgia. Everyone IRL was talking about it.

Re: The TV Series Thread - Part 2
Finished Justified a few weeks ago. My favorite show. Boyd Crowder is the most awesome, umpredictable character ive ever seen. As well as Boyd, characters like Raylan, Colt, Ava, Duffy, Dewey, Tim, etc are some of the best characters ive ever seen as well.
Tried Breaking Bad and the Wire, only a few episodes each, didnt really like them all that much. I can see the potential with them, and the first episode of Breaking Bad especially is awesome, but i just like Justified alot more. Maybe theyre just jot my kinda shows.
Now last week i started Lost. In the middle of season 3, this show has got me hooked. Justified is still my number 1 (i also watch Walking Dead and Game of Thrones) but Lost is truly a GOAT show as well.
Now im trying to find another show so when i finish Lost so i have something else to watch (im addicted to tv shows now). Cant find anything i really like all that much though...

Justified is one of my favorite shows, but I know those feels, some shows just don't resonate with me either. I could just never get into Breaking Bad but absolutely loved the Wire.juventus101 wrote:Finished Justified a few weeks ago. My favorite show. Neither. I live in Germany and have an app called Watchever. Far better than Netflix from my experience. Has all of Lost, Justified (only first two seasons are out here in Germany so i watched the other two online), Breaking Bad, the Wire, Mad Men, etc. Has practically everything.

Re: The TV Series Thread - Part 2
If that's the case I recommend:
House of Cards
Damages
Deadwood
Archer
The League
Luther
Probably a ton of other shows, but that will get you started.

Re: The TV Series Thread - Part 2
I personally enjoy each of those shows for very different reasons, each is capable of moments of pure brilliance, but House of Cards is probably the best of those three.Yohan Modric wrote:Are the following shows any good?

Not worth it honestly. Found it rather boring and recycled. Much better Syfy shows out there.

Tom doesn't watch Breaking Bad?
That, Justified and GoT are the only must watches on TV ffs
Boardwalk Empire is GOAT too, but is a slow burn at times.

It's common knowledge that whatever McAgger recommends is going to be GOAT. So I'm going to make a list of all shows I've watched and I'll rank them in the most appropriate manner from best to worst. Will post tonight
