Season 6 was the worst. Zoey. First 5 were brilliant.McAgger wrote:Meh I still enjoyed season 7 and 8 even though I agree that it wasn't the quality of the first 6. Haven't watched season 9 yet but it will interesting to finally see the mother.
That's why I've started believing that shows should end when they're in their prime (Breaking Bad). If they're stretched long enough, you start hating it.

Season 9 is better than 7 and 8 imo. The Mother is brilliant. The best episodes are ALWAYS the ones where she appears.

Started with House of Cards last night, political dramas ain't my thing, but having Kevin Spacey as the main actor suffices.

Can't wait for the 2nd season when ever it is.... anyway i just finished watching Chuck for the 2nd time as its been released on Netflix( first time was when it was on TV)
Absolutely love it, not everyones cup of tea but i felt emotionally engrossed with all the characters.
It did confirm one thing for me though.... i absolutely hate watching a good tv series and seeing it end
I wish it would go on for ever

That episode was just too f*cking much. 10/10 was on the edge of my seat
Is that the last ep of the season? Also, are you not a fan of Jax or are you just saying it'd make sense for him to get killed considering he's gone up against all of these different outfits like the IRA.

Re: The TV Series Thread - Part 2
I read that wasn't the finale. I think there's another episode. Not a huge Jax fan, more of a Clay fan. Those Irish guys had it coming, it doesn't make sense for him to keep outsmarting all these gangs though like he's a superhero. Even though there have been casualties like his crew, someone closer like his wife or mum needs to get clapped

- Spoiler:
- I did like Clay but his time was up. And i'm surprised Gemma and Tara are still both alive tbh. But for me it's fine the way it is because the club has suffered big time for a long time so it's not like they're John Cenaing their way through bigger, more powerful gangs.
I'll miss the Irish tbh, Gaeland (No idea how to spell his name) the older guy who hated jax was a great antagonist. I never seen his death being so sudden, was preparing for a lengthy talk but nope. Jax whips out a gun as he offers to shake his hand. Pops a cap in his skull
That DEA woman pisses me off, she needs to meet her end
Is it even worth spoilering this? Nobody seems to know SOA exists.

I really appreciate the shows liberal use of soliloquies by Spacey.El Gunner wrote:Started with House of Cards last night, political dramas ain't my thing, but having :proud:Kevin Spacey :proud:as the main actor suffices.
Agreed, I'm impressed they even let last night happen considering I never truly believed Jax was actually the shows main character.Firenze wrote:Anyone catch the new SOA?

Nah still have to watch GoT and last season of Justified. Can't be motivated to watch them though, like I would with Walking Dead and Breaking Bad.

Re: The TV Series Thread - Part 2
Watch more of GoT, you will be hooked soon enough. If you are confused with the characters then just ask and it will be more clear.
Try watching Luther if you are not in the mood. It's short and a pretty good thriller.
Or you can watch Arrow. It's really good and something that will get you hooked

- Yeah Clay was GOAT but his time was up, he definitely had it coming..but I'll miss him it was a pretty great scene too. The Gaelan thing took me off guard I was like WHAT. Surprising. I've hated the DEA woman since she was in one of the creators previous shows lol, she was also in SOA as another character in the early seasons but they brought her back and gave her another haircut..lol, dumb

Wasn't a bad show to be honest, but this season is really bad. We gave up on the show 4 episodes ago.

Glad this show doesn't have that many episodes, I can still continue my education. But also have to watch Boardwalk Empire
