Unlike Mou though Arbeloa is Madridista to the core. If he says anything it's likely to be the truth.
Glad, there are a bunch who think exactly like me. Everyone seems to forget that Arbeloa was one of the rocks of our defense in our title winning season. He is a solid player with solid character and that is why coaches want him on the team.
But fickle madrid fans will forget that he probably bleeds madrid more than any of us.....we want loyalty but show none.

Arbeloa is madridista to the core? That justifies it?? He's a fringe player who can't shut up. Nobody is backing him up. He talks and its crickets behind him.
He should let the adults talk and stick to the little kids room.

half of your post doesn't make sense. Arbeloa is one of the older players in our team and he is well past adulthood
Secondly, Arbeloa's loyalty is not in question, he is a youth product of castilla and is a Madridista to the core. He has also provided rock solid defensive performances in the past, and yes he has made mistakes too but which defender doesn't?
Third, This thread is not about Arbeloa, Thanks to Pedram for derailing this thread among many other he has done already

What he's saying is true though. Being backed up or not it doesn't change the validity of his comments.

Arbeloa is a Moudrista... he's not a madridista. And no, he's not correct. He's only looking at it from his perspective which is only shared by him it looks like.

Not impressed by Carlos lately. His formations and subs are sometimes baffling. Looks like his play style is caught in the sea between Italy & Spain - neither attractive nor effective.

he had an entire preseason to sort out his strategy, tactics and everything else.Nedved wrote:Not impressed by Carlos lately. His formations and subs are sometimes baffling. Looks like his play style is caught in the sea between Italy & Spain - neither attractive nor effective.
he doesnt even have a set first team. making changes every week doesnt help players or make understanding a particular system better.
he does really seem clueless.
we had some good preseason games, especially the one versus chelsea... then again, Ozil was still with the team.

Re: Carlo Ancelotti
I might put this here as Ancelotti has something to do with our roster and all.
http://www.goallegacy.net/t29605p144-champions-league-real-madrid-vs-borussia-dortmund-discussion
The tune on Benzema/Higuain was alot different wasn't it? Higuain always came across as a big game choke to me. Benzema was definately better in those moments.
Bit:
And this is what you get for starting choker Higuain.... frakkin every time. Benz comes in and scored goal and sets up assists.
I can't frakkin understand how in the world any manager can pick that shat player that is gonzalo... never scored a goal in his life that matter outside la liga and even then.

he is alittle stubborn with his selections but as giggity said these are not easy tactics to get adjusted to especially without anybody in our team having played for a consistent run of games before

No body is talking about tactics here, but playing style. For a coach of his experience he seems to be clueless how we are gonna play. He started off talking about attractive play and then he says I am an Italian and in between all this - I already see La Liga slipping.

Ancelotti loves his experienced players, why do you think he got the sack with us? He didn't play our youth players when he should have.

Re: Carlo Ancelotti
The relationship between a boy and his girlfriend's father can often be a strained one, but not if the father is Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti who has signed Mino Fulco- as a nutritionist, according to the Daily Mail.
Fulco, who is in a relationship with Ancelotti's daughter Katia, is now the nutritionist at the Bernabeu after Katia pressured her father into the deal.

Re: Carlo Ancelotti
Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has downplayed speculation linking him with the Italy managerial role after the World Cup next summer.
"You never know what will happen, but right now I like coaching on a daily basis.
"My heir? There are a lot of good coaches around right now, but personally speaking I do like Vincenzo Montella.
"I like how his Fiorentina side play and I like how he deals with the media."

Re: Carlo Ancelotti
we don't need a midfielder....we have more than enough in that department already. yeah people will say alonso is getting old, but we spent thirty something million on illara (a 30 plus million understudy is way too much in my opinion). we have modric who in my opinion has been our best player this season, and khedira will return from injury next season. and also young casemiro, who can be a decent back-up, still has a long way to go before first team action and that's good as he can learn from better players....we don't need a defender, varane will return from inury, pepe has been doing ok, and ramos, well ramos is trying .....young nacho can come off the bench now and then......what we need is a striker, yes benz has scored a lot lately, but i'm not sold on him, he has a tendency to relax. and i'm not sure what he'll bring to the table when we might have to face the likes of bayern, chelsea, barcelona, etc (note i didnt say champions league teams, cos i know people will bring up champions league stats, i mean elite teams, that dominate play and can lock down some of our top players, cos even some average teams play in the champions league)

I agree about Benzema relaxing too much but he is the key against top teams imo.
