Well, without warning Goal.com decided to shut down it's forums and instead, use it's comments section as the main way to have people interact. The Moderators were warned of this and instead of letting all the old members go find new forums, they created goal legacy and quickly spammed it across the goal.com forum the day before it was due to shut so as many members got across as possible. We still lost a few members sadly.

Time to actually get back on topic, With MVG close to joining, our squad looks something like this:

GoalKeepers	Cech, Blackman?
Defenders	Azpilicueta, Ivanovic, Luiz, Terry, Cahill, Cole, Bertrand
Midfielders	Mikel, Ramires, Essien, Romeu, Lampard, Van Ginkel, De Bruyne, Mata, Hazard, Oscar, Moses, Schurrle, Marin
Strikers	Ba, Torres, Lukaku

Of Course, Blackman is still unconfirmed to be joining the first team and the players in red are possibly going to leave. Lukaku and De Bruyne are reportedly staying with the squad next season.

It's clear we still need a GK, Midfielder and CF at least.

GoalKeepers	Cech, Blackman, GK
Defenders	Azpilicueta, Ivanovic, Luiz, Terry, Cahill, Cole, Bertrand
Midfielders	Mikel, Ramires, CM/DM Essien, Romeu, Lampard, Van Ginkel, De Bruyne, Mata, Hazard, Oscar, Moses, Schurrle, Marin
Strikers	Cavani, Ba, Torres, Lukaku

Now, That's 28 players. Probably 3-4 too many. There is a couple of options to reduce the player number, Sell Marin, Essien and Ba and Loan or Romeu. Sell Marin and Loan Lukaku and Romeu Or Sell Torres, Marin and Essien. I guess this part is up to Jose.

• Marin must be gotten rid of. Either loan or [hopefully] sell. Not good enough
• Torres, I'd love to see go but I'm afraid we're probably stuck with the dumb lug
• Essien is finished and should be offloaded, but his wages may prevent that
• Romeu I can see going on loan, but it could go either way

Certainly, I'd love to see those four leave but I am not sure we will, I think at least 2 of them will go though.

Marin will either sit on the bench forever or be sold. I can see Romeu leave on loan if we sign anything that resembles a DM. Torres won't leave, I think Ba is more likely to go.
