I can't wait for the season to start!
I'd be lying if I told you I wasn't just a little excited after it was announced. I still think he's not the best man for the job and that it will all end in tears in the end, but if he can come in, stabilise the circus that's been going on, put the same belief and spirit in this group as he put in the last one, and succeed, then perhaps it will have been worth it.
WHAT THE *bleep*
u actually said this??

In seriousness, I did sincerely believe he wan't the best man for the job, but am more than happy, just as I said was my hope then, to have been proven badly wrong.

Oh I still think it will end in tears. Eventually. As it did the last time. But that doesn't mean he won't do a damn good job, and that it won't completely have been worth bringing him back.

Mourinho to manage Rest of the World side in next month's Soccer Aid match:
Chelsea boss José Mourinho will manage the Rest of the World side — this year boasting the likes of Edgar Davids, Edwin Van der Sar, Jaap Stam and Alessandro Del Piero — in the upcoming Soccer Aid charity match at Old Trafford on June 8th, and will face-off against West Ham boss Sam Allardyce, who takes charge of the England XI

Re: The Official José Mourinho Thread
If Bayern let Pep go I am afraid Jose's job is in danger this summer. Even otherwise given the spats he is having with everyone and players being unhappy I will not be surprised if he gets fired mid season if results get any bad and his promised attacking style to Abra doesn't bare fruit.

Re: The Official José Mourinho Thread
Remember Pep was Abra's first choice. Whether Pep is interested or not is a diff matter, But Abra will give it a go If he is available. Given he is not a big fan of Mou's playing style and neither has Mou changed his style as he promised and worse he seem to be sparing with the creative lot - Hazard, Oscar etc. I am worried about the later part as given the direction Chelsea wants to go i.e playing more attacking football If creative players are not happy they will leave. Abra will typically will go for the sack.
Again this is less likely this summer, But if Jose's second season is not attractive for Abra and results go any bad. He is doomed.

Re: The Official José Mourinho Thread
Small-time Pep wouldn't even get a second look from Abramo
Besides, his desire for 'attacking football' is a completely conjectured, media-made myth. He has never stated anything even mildly indicating that publicly – just like he never states anything publicly – and would never have re-signed José in the first place if he sought a passing game. It's complete fabrication.

Re: The Official José Mourinho Thread
I honestly cannot see Abra sacking Jose just because he wants Pep.
I also can't see Pep ever managing us.

All of these are suppositions based off of nothing but what's claimed by the media, which itself is based off of pure supposition. Abramovich talks to no one publicly, so any claim made about his intentions or desires can be nothing but guesswork.
