AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has played down speculation that Carlos Tevez will be joining the club from Manchester City. But Galliani admits things could change if interest in Stephan El Shaarawy heats up.

He said: "There are no negotiations for Tevez, for now we are filled in attack. El Shaarawy is the player we are getting requests for. I have not said that he is unsellable because in this market anything can happen."

It’s rumoured Inter turned down a €20m Tottenham offer for creative midfielder Fredy Guarin.

Sky Sport Italia ran the story this evening with transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio making the claim.

Spurs have long shown an interest in Guarin and Alvaro Pereira, both specific targets for manager Andre Villas-Boas.

According to this report, Tottenham raised their proposal to €20m – around £17m – but the Nerazzurri rejected it.

However, the same sources suggest Inter hope to spark a bidding war and are prepared to listen to higher offers.

Colombian international Guarin turns 27 on June 30 and only joined Inter from Porto in January 2012.

He arrived on loan for €1.5m and in May 2012 the club took up its option to make the move permanent for a further €11m.

According to El Potivir, Juventus are interested in Monterrey 20 year old winger Jesús Manuel Corona Ruiz.

The agent of Inter Milan midfielder Joel Obi has confirmed that clubs in the Premier League have enquired about the Nigeria international.

The 22-year-old has made 48 appearances for the Nerazzurri since signing from Nigerian lower division club NEPA Lagos in the summer of 2010.

His 2012/13 season was badly disrupted by injury though, restricting him to just three appearances and forcing him to miss the Africa Cup of Nations in January.

Despite his injury problems Premier League duo Newcastle and Sunderland have been linked with a summer swoop in recent weeks.

His agent, Renzo Contratto, has confirmed clubs in England have enquired about the player, who is now fit again, but insists that his future depends on Inter.

"I can say that Joel is a player liked in the Premier League," he told FC Inter News. "The guy had a difficult season but now is fine.

"He will leave for the Inter pre-season and then we'll see what the club wants to do.

"Obi is an Inter player and has a contract until 2017 but from now to the market's end, no one can predict what will happen".

You think he's ready for the step up yet? And how well do you think he's played compared to Strootman and Maher at the Euros?

Thought he was the best player on the pitch along with Ola John against the Russians.

im a huge admirer, but im still not sure if he ready to make the jump. if mourinho is on board and can find a spot for him then im sure he will do fine. but for his first season it might be best for him to go on loan to the bundesliga or even la liga.

and for his euro performances so far, i think hes done better than strootman, which is a huge statement, but i know he can play better if he had a more defensive minded partner, van ginkel has been covering for strootman a lot.

Yeah, I was shocked he was frequently positioned as the deepest midfielder, thought that would be Strootman's job considering MVG more renowned for his offensive talents while for Strootman its the complete opposite.

Speaks volumes for his all round game I suppose. Was hoping Strootman would be dropped in favour of Clasie who I've actually watched. Feel he's been a passenger in all his games so far.

I still prefer Strootman, myself. I think he's more polished and a bit more versatile. I'm a bit of a Strootman fanboy, though.

Isn't Clasie considered the brightest Dutch talent of the new generation? Why can't he get a game?

Strootman bizarrely enough impresses me more for the senior team for some reason. Don't think he's been particularly good for the U21's SO FAR.
