Rooney has been so shit so far. Him and Glen are are early contenders for flop of the match.

Carrick and Lampard were different class in the 1st.

And gutted to see Sturridge go off. So injury prone especially at inopportune times.

I haven't been too impressed with Rooney so far, either. His passing has been too sloppy and a couple of potential counters have been squandered because of it.

The midfield four are playing well, though. If they keep that up and we produce a better final ball, we should score again. I'm a bit worried that our defence isn't coping well with Ireland's direct football.

So promising, but plenty of room for improvement.

No he hasn't. He's played loads of intelligent passes into attacking areas. Rooney hasn't been able to capatilize.
