Arsenal drop out of race for Fiorentina star

Arsenal have reportedly dropped out of the race to sign Stevan Jovetic, according to the English press.

It had appeared that both Arsenal and Juventus were locked in a battle to sign the striker, but it appears now that Arsenal have withdrew their interest.

According to newspaper The Daily Mail, Fiorentina’s asking price of €30 million is too much for the Gunners.

As a result – the only team seemingly still in place to sign Jovetic is Juventus, who have been negotiating for the Montenegrin forward for some time.

Jovetic has appeared 30 times for Fiorentina this season, scoring 12 times.

Wenger must be choked he lost out on Jojo to such a small club...
