GTA V have a serious competition here...
Don't think so, it looks a great game and i'll eventually buy it but i don't see it to be in competition with GTA as its nothing like it.
They both will attract different audiences, the only comparisons they have is they are both open world.
Quite frankly nearly every game i saw at E3 is looking open world lol.
having watched some game play videos ... the environment, the people's reaction.. the gaming intelligence on that watch dog is unbelievable... its just stunning.
well, we have to see what it would be like with GTA V gameplay, but for now for me Watch dogs, is the one to get

Not going to wait that long for GTA are you Moal?
No matter how big that game is, it'll be played to death from September until January by me.

Good good, I expect another Red Dead before GTA VI, although that's not a bad thing by any means.
I think i'll be getting GTA on ps3 instead Mole
I've fallen out with Xbox.

I remember them saying in Red Dead that they couldn't put the lasso in multiplayer for technical reasons.
Playing free roam lassoing people and leaving them in the middle of nowhere

Mole
I hated the lack of lasso on MP
I was going to hog tie my friend and carry him around then leave him in the Bear infested woods
Hopefully I can with the PS 4

However my only problem was that beating Joker was really really easy. Poison Ivy took like 5 goes. And no i wasn't busy staring at her ass

Maybe you should have stared at Jokers ass to increase the difficulty

Pretty hard to stare at her ass with how that boss is set up
With that said that boss is pretty easy once you know how you are supposed to do it.
As for myself still playing Witcher 2 and still loving the hell out of it, i do get where Kick was coming from now about the combat its still great but it lacks depth in certain areas IMO.
Also i'm on a race against time to complete it before my PS3 arrives

Re: General Games Discussion Thread
RG, if you like Asylum, you will love Arkham City. Asylum's problem came from its somewhat generic environmental design which quickly got monotonous through all the back-tracking involved. Within Arkham City you are presented a medium sized city with the freedom needed to actually feel like Batman.
The attention to detail within City is extraordinary.
Only problem with the game is I found it much too short and the ending rather half-assed.
As for Red Dead, Mole by any chance are you Jesse James' descendent?

Witcher 2
Completed it now and definitely the best RPG i have played this generation bar none.
The story is simply fantastic as is the setting, characters you interact with and missions you complete.
Simply brilliant, i hope they don't compromise any of this great storytelling for Witcher 3 while they are focusing on creating a leaving breathing open world with things to do outside the main mission structure and storyline.
I might even play it again to try and get a different ending through making different decisions.

Re: General Games Discussion Thread
Just picked up Dishonored for 30 bucks. Wanted to play it when it came out but I was backlogged with games.
I also bought WWE 13. Haven't played a wrestling game in years, but I saw they have the attitude era and you can do a campaign with like Stone Cold, so I copped 8 ) .
I still haven't even finished TLOU but I'll be looking forward to Dishonored when I'm done.
