Trying to play the ESO beta but stuck on an infinite loading screen following the end of the first (tutorial) quest. Bit hard to test anything or get a feel for the game when I can't actually play it at all...

Also RO that was due to their whole "Lets Break a Record" thing where even if you got stuck on a loading screen, it helped them with their stress test. They did maintenance on it it should be fine now.

Titanfall doesn't impress me from the videos I've seen. But then FPS games rarely do these days. So tired of them.

I don't play MMORPG's but there'ss ome Final Fantasy BETA that's free for a while for PS4 owners starting this weekend, gonna check it out.

Has anyone ever played any of the Witcher series? I bought Witcher 1 and 2 on a steam sale and i played some of Witcher 1 but didnt like the combat, then recently started playing Witcher 2 and I must say I am enjoying it. Cant wait for Witcher 3.

Witcher 2 is fantastic, i can't wait for Witcher 3 as well but it doesnt end there with CD Projekt Red ( dev)

Anyway i have been playing my Nintendo Wii again recently lol.

Mainly playing Donkey Kong Country Returns and Mario Galaxy 2 the former is the best 2D platformer since the SNES era and its not even close ( i haven't played the Wii U version/sequel yet though)

Also after going through the games i have i feel like busting a myth that the Wii " had no games".

Super Mario Galaxy, Super Mario Galaxy 2, Mario Kart Wii, Super Smash Bros Brawl, Donkey Kong Country Returns, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Super Paper Mario and Metroid: Other M.

That's just exclusives and just games i have sitting in my room so there's probably more tbh lol.

I've been unimpressed by both Witcher games so far, to be honest. Different tastes, I suppose.

Witcher 1 had clunky, old combat mechanics which was a huge turnoff. Witcher 2 is good for me but I would prefer if it was open world, like Skyrim for example. Good thing Witcher 3 is going for a persistent world I really cant wait for it.

I have to admit open world does concern me with the new Witcher tbh.

I see the potential there, but the key's for the Witcher 2 are its mature storyline, branching paths and overall mission structure, character development and the characters you interact feel which you grow attached to.

Focusing on a persistent open world could lead to the rest of the game being a lesser experience, because you are doing random stuff all the time as a result the story might not feel as impactful.

I really hope they are able to combine the both because i don't recall an RPG ever doing that. But i'm not oblivious to the fact that having a persistent open world combined with a very complex and deep story, not losing anything from either one is very difficult to pull off.
