Fair enough, but we rejected a bigger offer for Agger (a 28 year old defender) and Santos get bent over for that amount for the supposed next big thing in Brazil

Santos asked for his buyout clause (60+M) 2 years ago.Now its either do or die, they either sell or let him go for free

It isn't only 28m euros. Barca paid around 15m for a pre-contract with Santos.

Besides keeping Neymar boosted Santos' brand. Made tons of money through sponsorships, TV deals, selling more tickets, marketing etc

Anyway he'll flop there just like Alex, Cex, Villa and Ibra. So obvious.

Have you seen their front line Messi aside? its more toothless than Liverpool before January Suarez aside.

Won't go into whether he will flop or not but its pretty obvious their front line needs additions.

the deals are on the table,the announcement will be made in the next hours so ther wont be a bidding war.As I said earlier,this is where we will see if Nerman is a money hoe or not because barcelona are clearly going to offer an inferior contract

This is nice and all but Madrid can't formally bid for players since they have no board until the elections are held.

Surely that implies that both offers have been accepted and its up to the player and the player has chosen Barca unless the media has lied for past 2 years.

Madrid are just trying to drive up the price to mess with Barca.

He makes so much money based on advertisement, something that will only increase after going to europe, that i doubt he cares whether he gets paid a million or 2 less in the move.

If I play against anyone with a Neymar shirt that's not actually Barcelona,National team or Santos top, (This kind of thing is more common than you'd think sadly) I will be trying to injure them in-game.

I think the big thing here is also the sponsorship Neymar currently has..

He's currently under Nike.. I think it suits him better to go to Barce due to that Nike connection where as Madrid he'd most likely not continue under the Nike brand.

Wow what a good trade for the fire. Magee is better imo and especially considering Rogers injuries and troubles staying on the field that the fire didn't have to throw in anything else

I was almost certain Chicago would end up getting screwed in the Rogers-to-LA move given the situation but it would appear that the Fire may even have (arguably) gotten the better of the deal. Quite happy with this, assuming it goes through.

Neymar for 28 +15 (paid as precontract) = 43 million to Barca. Fair price imo.
