Your thoughts on the EPL season?
Well I havent really watched a lot this season. Just finished watching the final moments of the games.
Arsenal celebrating like they won the league says it all. Im a bit sick of it tbh
Bale another great winner but too bad have to see him and Spurs in the Europa next season and put up with Arsenal in the CL AGAIN no offense to the Arsenal fans, its just getting boring
Chelsea looks to have a real good base and mentality, if Mou brings in the right players and gets them doing their best, they will be a real force again.
Man C very disappointing, just like their season really. Big changes needed, and so have to wait and see what happens during the summer.
Man U obviously they end of an era and Im actually really a bit sad even though I hate them, and looking forward to their real decline now I hope They got some issues to sort out like Rooney, their defense, their midfield, replacing Giggs is a huge thing, the last of the old leaders. I dont think they will be as big a force after Fergie leaves, thats for sure
For the rest of the clubs cant comment too much, looking forward to the new boys and another exciting season next and one of Man C or Chelsea winning the league pls

Considering where we were and what not finishing in the top 4 would have meant tangibly (no Champions League) and intangibly (disgrace to the club, finishing behind Spurs), I don't see why we shouldn't we happy.BarcaLearning wrote:Arsenal celebrating like they won the league says it all. If Tottenham were as badass as they claimed to be, they would have wrapped up CL qualification months ago. They're playing at their appropriate level in Europa

Consider where we were ( mid table) yes, it's enough to celebrate.

The relegation battle and the CL qualification battle was immense. Very dramatic and exciting. Maybe the best in a long time

Re: Your thoughts on the EPL season?
Ok I agree, although no offense to Arsenal I must say, I guess Im a bit disappointed with Wenger. I think he should go if he for a few years cant keep Arsenal's best players and not able to take them to a higher level? Also u just know that they usually get stuck in CL about round of 16 or QF.

It was even until the last day though? I thought Wigan going down almost felt a bit unfair since they play decent and even beat Man C to the cup... but I guess beating Man C these days isnt that hard

I don't want to belittle any team in the league but the quality of football has been poor this season.
One of the worst seasons since I watch the Prem.

top teams have all been poor by their standards.
I know it's a cliche by now but Liverpool are a couple of good signings away from challenging.
Chelsea are in the best position IMO. Dat young talent.

United got as many points as they could from August till Feb. After that even they stopped performing.
It was a poor season overall quality wise

20I13 Champions.
Loved it from a Utd fan's perspective. Sad to see SAF and Scholes go.
This season was all about Bale though. We're witnessing the next superstar in the making.

Re: Your thoughts on the EPL season?
A good season when I try to think about it objectively.
The champions and 2 out of 3 relegation places were clear a little too early on, but otherwise there was all to play for until the last few rounds and that 4th place battle ensured there was something left for the final day as well.
A fair number of players having a great first season for their clubs, like RVP, Cazorla, Hazard, Lukaku, Benteke, Coutinho, Verthongen...
All in all an entertaining season.

Re: Your thoughts on the EPL season?
I think the best part of this season is that for once there are no sure things going into the next season.
When I look at the teams, as Firenze said, the only thing that stands out to me is that Chelsea are clearly the team to beat going into next season.
Obviously all of this could change with the appropriate Summer signings, but going into the season the teams that look best suited to continue their good form is Chelsea and dare I say Arsenal.

Re: Your thoughts on the EPL season?
If I had to sum up the season in one word I think it'd be "transition" or "change." So many clubs began the season with different managers and/or personnel than they will end with, several key clubs (LFC, Chelsea, others) in seasons of transition to new styles with new, young squads, a number of massive retirement announcements for the end of the season, US television coverage changing over the summer... just seems like so much more was in flux this season than those previous. It will be a massively intriguing summer.

Re: Your thoughts on the EPL season?
Wow @ the forbes list, some points like the Man U only dropped 3 fking points vs lower side teams!!! Thats why they are champions so often without always being the best And I agree Red, its been a season with changes especially towards the end and next season may feel the same with many stuff ppl and changes again....
I agree also with u guys above. Although regarding title favourites next year, it seems every year a lot of ppl write off Man U and they prove us wrong so often, but I really think they will be a lesser force with Fergie gone and the others as long as they are wise with their manager and player choices they really will start a new era and hopefully make it even more competitive at the top.
