Good game by Spain... but the entire starting XI for the Dutch is new for this game. Not sure why they decided to just throw this one away by resting everyone tbh. The loser plays Italy in semis and the winner Norway.

free kick 1v1 should have been a goal. our defense is absolute shit without the starters though.
the differences in depth is really showing

Re: UEFA U21 European Championships (Israel, June 5th - June 18th)
Inigo wasn't at fault for that as De Gea as usual called out the shot while into Inigo's zone. Typical of Dea Gea who is excellent but is a pussycat when it comes to communication.
Best players so far, Muniain, Sarabia, Thiago, & Isco.
Carvajal>>>Montoya & Nacho I rate above Bartroll.
Morata has proven me wrong. Vamos Alvaro

i dont understand that either. idk if cor pot is just over confident that we will beat italy, and shock spain in the final or the starters legitimately need a rest.

Isco > Bale. We need to quickly sign him.

Thiago holds on to the ball for an eternity and easily loses it. Munain has been everywhere tho. Isco with a slightly worse game than vs Germany but still great

Morata deserves the start now, he moves defenders so much and find ways to make each touch count. very good player.
I didnt see Nacho providing much width on his side, but he is a quality defender, we know that already

I agree Hala as its not Thiago's best game. Iker has been brilliant. Isco still hasn't been influential in this tournament and Sarabia is a maestro. Needs more chances, the latter and frankly deserves it over Isco based on this tournament.
Glad to see Carva over Montoya who is mixed.

I agree about Morata
I though Nacho was attacking alot more than Carvajal tbh but still didn't send many crosses into the box
Camachos long balls are aporling. usually too long

I will state that Morata deserves credit but still has a long way to go if we would rate him properly within a more supreme level of football.
To this day, I will state that Nacho is the real deal as a CB and so far the only Madrid cantera product who has a bright future ahead of him WITHIN Comunidad Madrid

Doesn't want to give the Spanish anything for the potential final between the two I guess.
Can't think of any other logical reason for resting the entire team.

Or perhaps the Dutch didn't want to get raped after fielding their first team? Damage limitation?

Ronaldo's knuckle ball technique makes an appearance at the Euros.
Unreal effort by Depay and an even better save by De Gea.

Re: UEFA U21 European Championships (Israel, June 5th - June 18th)
im actually glad cor pot rested the starting XI, leaves a very interesting final, and gives players who may need to be subbed in some game time to get match fitness.
players like clasie, memphis depay, fer, etc. who will likely be big impact players.
and sorry arq, but i have to disagree with you on nacho, he may be playing decently this match but he has absolutely no future in top flight football, certainly not madrid.

Sarabia is still so fcking talented
needs to get out of Getafe asap. Spain youth teams always saw his immense potential and kept calling him up, and he rarely disappointed.

nah he needs to go in a team where he will get substantial minutes, like Morata. i hope they both find a club that will help them progress further.
