Re: UEFA U21 European Championships (Israel, June 5th - June 18th)
Depends on where they play. Deeper in midfield Thiago is better as he can pace the game better and distribute the ball but closer to goal is where Isco's play comes to life. He is technically outstanding and has an eye for goal. He is only 20Rebaño Sagrado wrote:Who do you guys think is the bigger talent I$co or Thiago?

Rofl, he doesn't even start week in week out lmao.
He had the 2nd most total appearances after Ronaldo in the league and started 25 games, which is the 4th most. In the 2nd half of the season he started pretty much every game.

is it me or Thiago hasnt been that impressive this tourney. Illarra has been the main man in that midfield imo

I haven't watched one game of the tournament
Football stopped being relevant to me the moment we beat QPR on our second to last game of season.
I haven't watched a single game since or followed any NUFC transfers news like i'd usually do.

When's the final? a pitty Germany didn't bring their best players, this could have been the best u-21 tournament ever.

At this rate, Spain will win without even conceiding. The most one sided Euro U-21 tournament ever probably.

Re: UEFA U21 European Championships (Israel, June 5th - June 18th)
Nope. Löw decided it would be best if players who were already capped with the seniors shouldn't step back to the U21 anymore. Only exception was Lewis Holtby as he captained the U21 from the start.Valkyrja wrote:Gotze, Leitner, Bittencourt and Draxler aren't in the squad ?free_cat wrote:When's the final? a pitty Germany didn't bring their best players, this could have been the best u-21 tournament ever.

Yh I don't think they will concede either. This generation of spaniards are great. The sheer amount of talent everywhere would give any manager a headache. They also have more urgency to their game than the first team which makes it alot more enjoyable to watch.

Re: UEFA U21 European Championships (Israel, June 5th - June 18th)
The parallels between the EURO 2012 senior final is frightening. Iraly have one main playmaker in Verratti, much like Italy only had Pirlo. Thiago is Xavi and Isco is Iniesta. Illaramendi is Busquets. I hope Spain puts their philosophy to good use.

Great work from Isco and particularly Moratta set up that goal . The defending from the italians wasn't great though .
Immobile has just equalized though ! great finish !
What match !
Italian and Spanish youth systems

Morata is Drogba MK2. Not as much physical talent obviously but their playing style is eerily similar. Madrid would be foolish to get rid.
