Arq what you fail to notice is when he played as a striker for Madrid he was great but had to move to the left wing this season because we already had two wc strikers. He hasn't been the best there because he isn't a LW hence why he has said he will leave if we get a striker. He simply doesn't see himself as a winger. If we ever think about selling Morata it will be to a top team and not Getafe/Almeria so no a late bloomer is out of the question.

out of that bunch only Javi is a successful dude. The others either are included in the flop eleven by marca or are there to make up a number for a team who hardly buy players and rely on homegrown Laughing

I love Morata with all my heart now after proving a lot of us wrong and v Rodrigo who was f**king shat for us throughout the tournament.

Yet both of them will never blossom into top-class players worthy of our starting line-up for La Roja. We do have serious problems up front. Basques have literally stopped producing the typical Basque False complete False 9 for #10s like De Marcos, Ander & Muniain while the other talents we have are talented yet aren't goalscorers

BTW

5m:  Italia now within the span of 1 year have lost:
-U-17 Euro Final v Russia
-U-21 Euro Final v España
-Euro 2012 Final v  España

Italia some serious chokers here.

Although two of them products of needless reactivity from the managers

Choking? Maybe against Russia but vs Spain? That was just a case of the better team winning.

Ramalho is a revelation and has been nothing short of spectacular during his playing minutes.
Muniain is only given "flop" by some because of his goal rate whereas his he has created the most chances for Athletic, caused major havoc and dis balance on almost every La Liga team and links up brilliantly with his teammates. If it wasn't for him, Athletic would be relegated.

Aurtunexte is one of the best Spanish LBs out there. Last season was near world class. Yes he was below part 1st half of the season due to injury concerns yet turned up all his ability in the 2nd where no one could get past him.

Iturasspe? Same Iturrapse who relegated Javi to a CB role because he was so good in midfield last season?

Ander is just undoubted. Hard to remember the last bad game he had as most think he is better than even Thiago. Ridiculously good.

Athletic rely on their homegrown players because that is their philosophy. Their problem is lack of depth (which is being well-addressed) as any common La Liga pundit who watches Athletic has pointed out managerial and not the players as the source of the problem. Otherwise Athletic wouldn't have reduced their cantera budget because there is no need for more funding due to the talent churned. Madrid spent almost thrice as much yet haven't produced a viable talent outside Sarabia and Jese (if you count Segunda performances).

I'll give benefit of the doubt to Morata since I like him and continually outperformed that useless scrub Rodrigo and from the bench.

Also completely forgot about Ayermic Laporte who is probably Athletic Club's player of the season. Unlike Varane, he proved himself for one whole season and being 1 year younger than him. Another talent harnessed by Athletic who outside 1 red card has been just immense.

Happy to see Spain win again Very Happy They are just in such a golden era Very Happy Thiago hattrick obviously very happy to see as a Barca fan. This stars and the team looks awesome.

For u experts though I got a question, how was Germany? I didnt watch them, but with all the hype lately, did they just under perform or Germany's youth just arent that good? Thx.

What ever happened to Munianin? He was rated as the next big thing before last season. Did he have a poor season? Or did he just struggle to find some consistent form and/or with injuries? scratch

You can bag Torres all you want. He went to Chelsea to help for trophies and he's done that. Two European cups, and an FA cup in the space of 3 years is a great achievement.
