Yeah there's probably zero chance Scolari gets the sack unless Brazil get utterly destroyed which I don't think will happen. He's very respected in Brazil if I'm not mistaken.

Ramires will represent Brazil in the 400m dash at South American games this summer so he is unavailable.

Because he's better? i like Ramires but i think people have forgotten how good Gustavo is simply because he's been benched by a world class DM in Javi Martinez.

Gustavo isn't guaranteed a starting spot in midfield either.

Agreed, personally i would take Gustavo and Ramires and not take Jadson.

But if i had to choose between Gustavo and Ramires for that spot i'd choose Gustavo.

Tbf if Brazil is still relying on Kaka and Dinho to win matches they have no chance at the WC.

Hell, both Ramires and Gustavo could have been sitting on the bench with Hernanes and Paulinho there. Even David Luiz could be a better option considering Brazil's style of play (attacking through the wingbacks while CM's plug the gaps)

Eastern European based players will not be called-up according to Felipao. so the quicker he moves to Man City, the better.

This list is sh!t.. wheres Tardelli or Jo?? One of them had to be called-up. They have been on a tear and rampage lately in the Mineirao and Copa Libertadores. Leandro Damiao does not deserve to be on that list over Jo and Tardelli.

Wheres Osvaldo or Wellington Nem?? one of them had to be called-up aswell.

We won't win the Confederation Cup.. probably bounce out at the semis or quarters.

Ramires stamina and ability to press the ball is unmatched by any Brazilian player. Silly not to take him.

No Rafael? Has been one of the best fullbacks in Premier League.

And yeah defo Ramires over Jadson. Lucas Leiva too or Fernando over Porto. I hope one of Dede or Marquinhos is in the World Cup. The Eastern European based players continue to get ostracised, poor Willian, no World Cup for him.

How is Rever and Jean? Don't know much about them.

Only two pure CFs in Damiao and Fred, damn Pato better hit form for World Cup. Lima of Benfica had a good season but players playing in lesser leagues always get overlooked.

Agree but I feel Ramires is more suited to the Brazilian style of play than is Gustavo. Besides, Ramires is more experienced at the international level and has had regular game time this season unlike Gustavo.

ooh Fernandinho is missing as well

Um,. and Luiz Gustavo can't press and retain the ball? I guess you have rarely watched any Bayern games. Gustavo has one of the highest passing accuracies at Bayern and his only fault is that he got benched for Javi Martínez. And I guess I don't really have to talk about Bayern's pressing, in which Gustavo works perfectly, too.

Rafael has not been good with Brazil when he has played for them (completely shat the bed at the Olympics)

Players who do well for Brazil usually get more call ups.
