beIN Sport launch online streaming service

beIN SPORT, the industry’s fastest-growing sports network, dedicated to live, exclusive coverage of the world’s best soccer and international sports, today announced the launch of the 24/7 streaming platform called beIN SPORT Play beginning on Friday, May 10 at noon EST.

All programming will be streamed in HD and available on any broadband-connected PC, mobile device or smart phone. The video player for this service can be expanded to full-screen mode if desired.

With beIN SPORT Play, authenticated pay-TV subscribers can enjoy all the exciting soccer action of the premier European leagues and tournaments, plus action from competitions in motor sports, cycling and other top international sports. In addition to full online access to beIN SPORT and beIN SPORT en Español, authenticated subscribers will be able to stream live overflow matches offered via this unique service.

This value-packed streaming service will be available immediately to authenticated subscribers of Time Warner Cable and Bright House Networks, with launches on other multichannel video providers expected soon. Authenticated beIN SPORT Sports fans will gain full access to beIN SPORT and/or beIN SPORT en Español in accordance with their subscription.

“beIN SPORT Play offers sports fans all the excitement of our worldwide coverage of the best athletes and sports leagues,” said Yousef Al Obaidly, managing director of beIN SPORT. “We are excited to deliver sports fans state-of-the-art live streaming access to this exclusive action.”

One of the innovative features of the new service includes email notifications 30 minutes prior to kickoffs plus relevant news and information on their favorite teams and games.

Programming highlights for this weekend include Barcelona and PSG trying to clinch their respective league’s championship crown on Sunday. Barcelona has a tough matchup against third place Atletico Madrid, while PSG takes on Lyon.

Great news, even though i dont own beIN, at least a step in the right direction. Many users have been craving for a streaming service for a while too

How is this any different to ESPN3? :S

^^ it's another sports steaming app if that's what you're trying to get at

Watch ESPN is fine and all but it doesn't offer La Liga, Serie A, certain World Cup qualifiers, Etc

So having both now will be awesome. Plus commentators are WAY better on Bein than ESPN.
