Those of you who don't know BT have bought a chunk of football rights for next season.

Re: BT about to make ITVs coverage look godly
Just noticed this too.... Jake Humphrey, Matt Dawson, Joe Hart, Tim Lovejoy. Is BT Sport's studio going to be in a student union bar or something?
They probably have a 10 minute segment every weekend called the BANTER ROUND UP.
the banter between Baby Elvis and Michael Owen will be off the charts and Rio merking people as a segment, Matt Dawson asking people questions on busy high streets. I can't wait!

Good for BT and their panel of experts.
Trying to compete with Sky Sports, hopefully they won't be the second coming of Setanta Sports.

Re: BT about to make ITVs coverage look godly
Was going to make a joke about this but then I read this;
I use BT broadband
Still think the random ineligible commentary in foreign games on FirstRow streams will be better than what I'll find on BT, but free is good.
BT Sport will be free to any consumer BT broadband customer – the first time in more than 20 years that weekly live matches from the Barclays Premier League will be free to watch.
The three BT Sport channels – BT Sport 1, BT Sport 2 and ESPN – will be packed with world class sport, including 38 exclusively live Barclays Premier League matches, as opposed to the 23 ESPN offered. This includes 18 of the best quality ‘top pick’ matches which for the first time ever are not all with Sky Sports.
BT Sport will also offer matches from the Bundesliga, The FA Cup, UEFA Europa League, Serie A, Ligue 1, MLS and many more.

I use BT internet, but subscribe to SKY. I hope I can still get the BT sports for free and I don't have to cancel SKY. Soccer Saturday >>

To be fair, McManaman is a good pundit from what I've seen when he's been on Al Jazeera. Can't say anything about the rest though.

I think you have to be subscribed to BT tv to get it for free or else anyone could pay for BT internet/phone and get the channels for free
