I don't understand the criticism at all. He's trying to trademark a logo. There is nothing wrong with that.

Aaaaaaw, what a cute way to celebrate a goal, giving hearts away to little girls and ladyboys.

Gareth Gayle.

Agreed with you and bhends.

I don't see the problem. He just wants to develop a trademark to launch his own line of products, just like many other footballers have done: Ronaldinho had the R10 brand, Beckham, Cruyff.... he will have a hands-making-a-heart-11 logo.

It's ugly as shit, but not criticizable. It would look much better if it was just a heart with the number eleven and "Gareth Bale" underneath.

Off course he is famous enough, he's two times player of the year and surely he is very famous in Wales.

I understand you dislike him, but you are talking bs in this thread.

With 3 milion people, Wales is a market big enough to have their own celebrities and launch an own brand.

Also, don't fool yourself, Bale is famous in England too and if he signs for a European powerhouse he will be famous in that country instantly.

Struggling to think of an Arsenal player who's more recognizable Laughing

Brb Arteta is Basque superstar
Brb Walcott most famous current English football superstar
Brb Chesney most famous polish player atm

Bale is pretty famous, and as Free has said, his potential to be famous will only continue to increase. He's famous despite playing for Tottenham. When he leaves for a big club, his notoriety will only go up.

I understand you don't like Bale and most Spurs players, but you're really trying hard here to criticize Bale when there is no reason to.

Go ahead and criticize how it looks, fair play to you. Calling him "unknown everywhere else" just makes you look stupid though to be honest. Especially given how hyped Bale has been in recent years (probably overhyped)
