So on thursday, the most exciting time of the year starts

The Championship Playoffs!

Watford, Brighton, Crystal Palace, Leicester.

Watford play Leicester, while the Seagulls battle the Eagles.

Will we see a El Gay-sico between Elton John's Watford and the Gay capital Brighton at Wembley?

Or will we see another London-club, Crystal Palace, join the greatest league in the world? Ian Holloway back in the Prem?

Or what about Leicester? The club where Emile Heskey had his glory days, and the club who has Peter Schmeichel's son on goal

Watford.

Brighton or Watford. Gus Poyet or Zola!! They would both be interesting characters to have in the Prem.

With Wigan going down, Brighton will be an apt and better replacement.

I love it when new teams or teams that haven't been in the prem in ages get promoted. Adds an air of excitement for next season

I like it. The league is so close that the 6th place sometimes is better than the 3rd.

In 2011 QPR finished 1st and Swansea was 4th. Who've been better in the Prem?

IMO, finishing anywhere other than 1st/2nd and being offered a chance for promotion is a GIANT bonus and way more than fair

In Serie B, 1st and 2nd get automatic promotion, whilst teams 4-6 have a promotion playoff.

Last season's promoted teams: 1st Pescara, 2nd Torino, 6th Samp

Not sure about the love-in for Watford, to be honest. They've gained their success through somewhat questionable methods due to their ownership and they're hardly outperforming Leicester at the moment.

Watford..Brighton if not. I don't know much about it, just what I've heard from friends who support clubs in the Championship, but isn't there some sort of issue with all of these loanees from Udinese? Will that affect them if they get promoted to the PL?
