How long?
How long till CR leaves Madrid?
i know the fannies are gonna get mad again, but how long do you think CR is gonna ride the madrid train?
he moved to madrid to increase his legend but he didnt exactly achieve more than he did in England wit manu. He is an amazing player, still, but i think it's likely that he moves out of Madrid within the next two years, three max.
Right now, he hasnt agreed to a renewal yet, he is playing hardball with floflo, specially after what happened last summer. it's reported that the deal madrid is preparing is between 14-15mil
PSG are after CR, they have willing to pay the money, around a 100m, they would make him the best paid player in the game, around 20m (more than etoo). ridiculous money for him to ride out the last couple of years of his career, living in paris being a legend. and competing for CL prize with a lot of talent around him every season, which is what he wants most, CL glory.
looks to me like PSG are offering him a good situation, and imo he will move within the next two years. How long do you give him?

I think hell either see out his contract or Madrid will sell him on the final year so they don't loose him for nothing

Re: How long till CR leaves Madrid?
Can RM still sell him for 100m in 3 years... Would they take that chance. I´d say, take the money now you can and let him get over his prime somewhere else.

Re: How long till CR leaves Madrid?
First we don't need the money at all.
Second, we've already made shit ton from his image rights and shirt sales that exceeds far more than what we paid for him and also keeping Ronaldo is just as beneficial financially as selling him to get some dough. It's not all just about the transfer fee you know.

Didn't a study determine Cronaldo could play well into his 40s? Still has another 12 years in him

Re: How long till CR leaves Madrid?
i dont think hes been offered a renewal.
anways my vote goes for the end of next season when he will have 1 year left on his contract.
though i think he may get a renewal that could restructure the nature of his contract to help him be sold at a reasonable price for madrid and he will get a higher wage.
still think the end of next year. he will be 29 i think.

I'd say next year. He'll be 29, which is still a decent age.
Can see PSG getting him.

I like how this guy said - WE Dont need the money at all
.....with Dortmund on his "clubs supported" and AV, and Liverpool in the Sig.

Re: How long till CR leaves Madrid?
Actually, I'm not mad you made this thread, it's a good question.
He honestly might stay until the end of his career. However it's impossible to say atm.
the way next season will go will have to be crucial

Yeah you don't NEED the money.. but if there is one year left on his contract, and you know he is leaving.. but some team offers 50 million.. it would be kind of hard to turn down.. despite how many other ways he has made the team profit.. ya know?

Re: How long till CR leaves Madrid?
He's been offered 2 renewals and he's refused both by Madrid. There's a lot of noise that he's 50/50 right now. PSG are offering everything he could dream of and that won't remain on the table after this year imo... once PSG continues to succeed and it's image is being built, they have no need for CR7 like they do now. As their need decreases, so will their offer.
It's a big decision for CR7 this summer. Personally, I'm not convinced he stays. He would be the icon in France and PSG... and given that Bein Sport is all over the world now, his exposure would be even larger. His fiance wants him to go to Paris too obviously and Mendes is pushing him there. He would get the unconditional love he's craving. Cr7 is bigger than Messi in France.

Re: How long till CR leaves Madrid?
I can see him retiring at Real or maybe playing until his contract ends and going back to United for retirement days. But of course these things depends a lot on managers and presidents.
Don't see Ronaldo's problem is about money, it's the glory and awards. Something which PSG can hardly offer. It will take too long for PSG to be anything significant and Ronaldo is not going to jump that train unless he is complete crazy.

Re: How long till CR leaves Madrid?
if we promote Jese now and let him learn for a season or two like Varane I don't mind losing Ronaldo at the end of next season that said Ronaldo can still be used as a CF if our problem there persists

Lucky I'm buzzed a little, I know would be pissed at that comment if I was sober. And don't lecture me on Madrid history. My opinion stands. Raul is the greatest legend for me.

It's not lecture. I wrote 2 lines.
My point was, Di Stefano and Puskas were known for their arrogant tendencies yet we still celebrate their achievements and accomplishments with the club.
Ronaldo has a LONG way to go to even get near that level, but i'm not going to slate the guy for having an attitude when he backs it up consistently.

Wait what is our argument even about??
I said I hope Ronaldo leaves before he gets to break Raul's record. I don't know why you felt the need to bring up Di Stefano and Puskas. I figured it was because I said Raul is our greatest legend, which I stand by.

No, it has nothing to do with the Raul thing.
I just don't understand why CR's attitude is something that must consistently be brought up to attack him?
We don't do it against previous players at the club because they were successful. (Di Stefano and Puskas) So, why make CR the exception?
I understand he hasn't won the trophies the others won, but it ain't like he ain't backing up his 'attitude' with his play and effort.

With Ronaldo, its never been about mon€y. Its always about the respect, and the adulation of the people. He's always wanted to be the centre of attention, the one who is always praised and revered. For this reason i think he will return to United. I mean Paris is a financially sound move for him, but i don't think he's gonna be tempted by them Qatari dudes.
